THE MESSENGER OF DEATH

Too stunned to speak, Katherine ignored Drake's comment and tried to stand up straight without destroying anything around her.

Moving slowly, Katherine's forehead was filled with sweat, as though she was doing a very difficult thing. After a few seconds, she sighed.

She was able to stand straight without destroying her surroundings.

Closing her eyes, she used her Spiritual Sense to probe her body. Katherine noticed that her blood seemed thicker now. They carried a trace of heaviness in some sense and another trace of raw power. Even the way her heart was beating in her chest was abnormal.

Her heart beat only once in 10 seconds, and each beat was so strong that it was sufficient for her current level. Katherine had an inkling that if she increased the rate at which her heart would beat, her strength would increase tremendously.
