Chapter 10

'Quick, run faster Fana! You need get out from here!!',my inner voice tell me. I run into the woods where I remember that I have to go trough this woods and it will lead me to the villa. I used Lucien jacket and his spare torch which I found them inside his wardrobe. I also manage to bring some chocolate and knife for emergency situation. I keep running and then for some moment I stop to catch my breath, then I look back to see how far I run. But I didn't notice till just now that this place is quiet scary when it was night time.

"Geez, it was creepy..." I murmur to myself and start to walk slowly. "If I know I would wait till dawn breaks then I will escape when Lucien was asleep.... but now I don't even know where to go... " I feel regret and feeling tired I sit down on a huge stone. It was freezing and I decide to keep on walking till I hear wolf crying. I was trembling in fear and I try to walk faster so that I think I maybe could avoid them. *crack* I heard sound of cracking stick and I turn back to saw 3 adult wolfs growling at me.

"Rrrrr....." Those wolfs seems wanted to attack me and I started to run as fast as I could. Those wolfs are fast and they already caught up with me. I scream for help and I threw the torch to one of the wolf and it hit on its head. I run and I unconsciously scream his name,"Lucien!! Lucien help me!! Help me, Lucien!!LUCIENN!!!" I fall down and I sprain my ankle. "Ouch!!" I wonder if anyone would be as unlucky as me when facing this kind of situation.

I quickly hide behind a tree and praying to God for help."Oh God please help me oh God!! I didn't want to die this way, either being eaten up by wolfs or freeze to death oh God!!!" I cross all my 10 fingers together and pray out loud. Bang! A loud shooting gun fire is being fired form the wolf direction. Bang! Bang! I heard 2 more gun fire and it was nearby me.

I was petrified and my whole body is shaking. I turn my back and try to stand up. "Hiss!!" My ankle is hurting as if there was a knife inside it and keep poking my ankle. My legs is wiggling hard and I fall down because my body isn't stable. I heard foot print and it was getting nearer.

"Fana?" I hear a familiar low husky voice, it was Lucien. At that moment I feel happy and embarrassed to meet him. I burst out crying with mixed feeling of terrified and embarrass when Lucien walk towards me."Are you okay? Can you walk?" His tender voice is so soft and caring. I feel regret to run away and seeing his face with that concerning expression makes me feel more wronged.

"I- I am, so-sorryy Lucien!!!" I cry while apologies to him with a sniffing voice. I expected him to be mad at me but instead Lucien hug me and than carry me to a nearby cave. I saw that Lucien's shoulder is bleeding and I ask,"Lucien what happens to your shoulder?? It was bleeding !!" He turn his head and tell me,"Don't worry about it, it was just temporary bleeding. I haven't fully recover after get shot from the villa, didn't you remember?"

That moment I feel so stupid to run away from someone that truly cares and protect me in any situation and I decide to protect him too because I don't want anyone to get hurt because of my selfishness.

Little did I know I began to have feeling on him but I hold my chest and feel my necklace that's hidden inside my clothe I wear and tell myself,' I am sorry Lucien because I can't reply your feeling for me, someone have been waiting for me for more than 16 years ago...' My tears slowly fall down as I try to hold my sad feeling for not able to find my first love as I promised and not able to love Lucien just for that person.
