Rise of the Mechanar
At twenty-years, Nicholas has lived his life to fulfill a vow. With the obligation settled, he yearns for answers to the mystery of his own origin. To solve it, he will need to venture to the old continent, the Ancient Capital, and to the midst of the war waged to reclaim it from the monsters that have driven humanity from it, countless millennia ago. He has planned for this, with years of effort in the making.
Yet not all plans survive, and with the advent of heathen invaders, he swears another promise and finds himself alone in the wilderness of the old continent. With enemies, both monster and human, surrounding him on all sides, he draws on ancient powers that may finally provide the answers he was looking for all along.
However, the night is long and he must tread carefully on his newfound powers, because he may turn into something that even monsters fear.
This book has great potential. I like the characters. I think the story needs a more active voice instead of passive storytelling...............

It'll help you see which one you should edit. Overall, it has a raw taste and with a little more polishing can be a biggie.
An exciting tale for me to read, knowing that danger can constantly be lurking around any corner. What I also enjoy is the hinting of a hidden potential bound to be awakened, which I think further elevates the story. I wish you good writing, author :)

This story was a good read all around. A great story with suspence, good characters and well writen! The first chapter alone is enough to get you hooked on it, all in all keep up the good work, Author!

The story is amazingly well written with organic exposition through character dialogue rather than a list at the beginning. The action scenes are tense and absolutely packed with suspense. Great Work Author!
The story is interesting and has potential. You do a good job at worldbuilding, it gave me the setting and feel of the story. The grammar needs working on a bit and this is probably my preference but your pages are so long, if you cut them a bit it would keep interest more and plus you will have more chapters(but that is probably my preference, I dont know about other readers. So you can ignore this if you want). But other than that, your story is good. Keep up the good work.
From the jump, meaning the synopsis and the first chapter, I was very interested in it. The story flows smoothly and has little to no grammatical mistakes. I can't give an in depth rating for this story because, as of now, there are not many chapters. Besides that, this story is great. You nice, keep going!
