I immediately wrapped my arms around her waist and lifted her.

She seems pretty surprised about what I did and I am expecting her to be mad. But for some reason, she just let me be and I took that as a response to continue what I was about to do.

I lifted her enough to be of the same head level and used my other hand to guide her arms to wrap them around my neck.

She did wrap her arms on my neck and rested her head on my shoulders.

I felt a chill on my spine for some reason.

I lifted her legs and made her wrap them around my hips.

"A'right. We're going to your room." I said as I proceeded to walk towards the stairs.

I heard that the front door of the palace suddenly opened while I was near the second floor already.

I saw Max and Robin enter the room.
