"It's literally your birthday, what's with you being stingy?" She looked at me directly to my eyes.

I averted her gaze. "I mean. I didn't really asked you guys to prepare this for me. In fact you all just pissed me off with this set up. You can just greet me in a normal way."

"But normal's too simple. And we don't want simple things." I heard Earl said and suddenly I am facing the cake.

"The candle is melting! Hurry and make a wish!" They all made me panicky.

"Damn! Hold on!" I shrugged their hands off of me because they are now holding my shoulders to keep me in place and blow the candle in front of me.

I closed my eyes and made a wish...

Seconds later, I opened my eyes and saw that they are all looking at me intently.
