Sion used his new Map Function to find a place to unlock the upgrade to his Kamen Rider Belt.
It was simple.
All he had to do was imagine a map, and within seconds there was a digital map in front of him. He wasn't lucky enough to have the standard RPG map that shows enemies as it was quite literally just a map.
Not wanting to complain, Sion studied the map and immediately started his journey to find a spot void of people. He hoped for an abandoned building far from the general public, and that's what he looked for first.
The time was 9:30 AM, so he had plenty of time to look. At first, May wouldn't let him be out this long on his own, but he made a big fuss out of it. The result was him promising to give her regular text updates with his phone, one he wished he didn't have.
*+ Sion's Phone +*
May - Where are you?
Sion - Not far from the pizza place you took us to last time. *Picture Attached*
May - Oh good. Make sure you are back before 12 for lunch. We also need to buy you some more clothes for school.
May - Ok? *Happy.jpg*
Sion - Ok.
*+ Sion's Phone +*
Sion groaned after finishing texting, putting away his phone before continuing his search. The map function was quite helpful as it showed him where he was and he could enlarge the image with just a thought, showing even the smallest of details.
An hour smoothly passes by, and Sion ended up in an abandoned factory. The place was practically falling apart and there were traces of drug use and graffiti on the walls.
It was extremely dirty and came with an odd smell, but it was perfect for what he wanted to do with it.
"I don't think I would like it here at night," Sion said out loud as he surveyed the area. The factory was quite big and even possessed a second floor underground. He wondered what the factory was for, but he quickly pushed away the thought to focus on what he wanted to do.
Sion quickly found a relatively clean place, kicking away any trash before sitting down on the cold concrete.
"So...how do I do this?"
"First is close your eyes...and let go," Nova answered.
"Let go?... Let go of what?" Sion asked, closing his eyes.
["Let go of all your troubles...your emotions...empty your mind."] Nova said, their voice strangely sounding far away.
"Hah..." Sion took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He'd repeatedly do this as he tries to clear his mind.
It wasn't easy, in fact, it felt like there was a wall inside of his mind that he couldn't get over.
["Let go...relax."] Nova said again, their voice sounding almost like a whisper.
'Just breathe Sion...remember who you are doing this for...' Soon after that thought, everything turned quiet, he could even hear the sound of his own breathing. As he entered this calm, all of sudden he felt like he was floating, drifting further into a darkness that felt...familiar.

It was around noon when powers around the world sensed the arrival of something unimaginable. They moved to find its source, each with different intentions.
One, in particular, was that of Charles Xavier, a middle-aged Caucasian man who was bound to a wheelchair due to an unfortunate incident in the past.
Despite this, he was a man of many talents, one being a scientific genius with a leading authority on genetics. He is also one of the world's strongest telepaths, a mutant born from the ever-evolving human race.
Using his talents, he managed to create a school for people like him, mutants of varying races and powers. Professor Xavier has but one goal in life, and this is to coexist with the humans that are afraid of their kind.
Professor Xavier was teaching one of his many classes before he felt a disturbance. He immediately dropped everything and wheeled his way to a machine, a machine called Cerebro.
Cerebro was designed and built to locate mutants all across the globe. The miracle of machinery can amplify Professor Xavier's mind to allow him to pinpoint the exact location of the mutant.
Seeing his urgency, two of his teachers rushed after him, mutants just like him.
"What's going on professor?" A white-haired woman asked worriedly.
"There is an omega mutant somewhere in New York. I can feel their power...but I can't find them." Professor Xavier replied, wincing a bit from pain as he strained his mind to pinpoint the area.
"An omega? hopefully, they aren't bat shit crazy like the tin head." A man with a wild hairstyle said with a slight smirk.

a dream...
That's what Sion thought as he found himself inside of a giant iron cage made for something that was at least 20 times his size. The massive cage moved ever so slightly as if it were hanging from a chain, making Sion feel a bit anxious.
"Where am I?.." He muttered, slowly getting up on his feet. His eyes quickly adjusted to dim light from an unknown source, but since it was a dream he thought that was pretty standard.
Things aren't supposed to make sense in his mind.
However, for some reason in the back of his head, there was this feeling, a feeling that he should leave this place as soon as possible.
"Nova?" He called for his forced companion thinking that he should still be able to talk to her if he was inside of his mind.
Several minutes quickly pass by and there was still no answer from Nova.
Strange.
Nova made it clear that they didn't like them, but they always managed to talk to him whenever he asked. Not hearing them made Sion feel a bit lost for some reason.
"If this is a dream. I would really like to wake up now!" Sion shouted, feeling a bit annoyed. He'd walk around the cage, looking for any clues that would tell him where he is at.
After what felt like hours, Sion found absolutely nothing...well he did find some numbers scratched on the ground, but he disregarded it as nothing.
"I don't feel like this...is a drea-"
"Would you like to go home?" A voice whispered near his ear.
After Sion heard the mysterious voice he felt a sudden chill pass through his body, causing him to shudder and clench his teeth.
"Who said that?" He asked, jumping back quite a distance from the iron bars before assuming his fighting position.
"...I asked you a question first. Would you like to go home?" The voice chilly said as the temperature around Sion abruptly dropped.
It may not be said, but Sion despised the cold.
He hated how it penetrated through his skin, biting his bones like a large rabid dog.
"Don't you want to go home to save it?" The voice asked. "All you have to do is...take my hand.." Suddenly a giant hand reached through a gap in the iron bars and stretched right toward Sion.
The hand belonged to a woman with pale white skin almost like the color of snow with a white aura that wrapped around it like a glove.
As soon as the hand reached inside of the cage, the iron bars around it started to freeze along with the bottom of the cage. It seemed like the entire cage would freeze over, but when the hand stopped in front of Sion it too stopped.
"You have power now...You don't have to stay in that world anymore. You can come home...just take my hand.."
"I can go home?" Sion muttered, folding his arms to try to stay warm. He always thought of finding a way back home without the goddess's help in the back of his mind. However, being on a leash didn't exactly help him act on that thought though.
"Yes! Now...take my hand!" The voice shouted sounding a bit impatient.
The chance to go back home was captivating, but Sion already learned a painful lesson.
Never trust anyone.
"Why are you offering me a way out?" He asked, stepping back a bit.
"Because I want to help you! Don't you want to leave to help your friends? Think of Erica or Zeke! Don't want to save them?" The voice said sounding a bit overly friendly.
"..." However, Sion wasn't buying at all and stayed away from the hand.
"TAKE MY HAND, YOU FOOLISH MORTAL!" The voice suddenly roared, shaking the entire cage with their voice alone as it brought about a fierce wave of chilling winds.
*BOOM*
A woman's face that looked like it came straight out of a horror film slammed against the cage, revealing her cracked skin and cold blood-red eyes that illuminated through the darkness.
"W-wait you're-"
"YOU'RE MINE! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?" The giant woman said with a distorted voice.
"ACCEPT YOUR FATE AND DIE LIKE THE-GAAAAH!!!" She screamed in pain as her face suddenly bursts into flames.
"HE'S MINE DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND! NOT YOURS!!" The woman screamed with her hands over her face as the fire grew more intense, covering her entire body.
Sion had no clue what was happening, but all of sudden his vision started to fade as he felt exhausted.
"NOOOOOO!!!" She screamed once again, shoving her burning hand back inside of the cage to claim what rightly belonged to her!
"I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY!"
However, before she could even get close enough...
He was gone...

Sion gasped for air, filling his greedy lungs with oxygen as he found himself back in the abandoned factory. He was no longer cold, but it felt like it was still there on his body.
"Nova?! What the hell was that?!" He shouted, feeling a bit agitated. He expected to get a typical power-up and maybe a different trial, but it wasn't anything like that.
["I am unable to-"]
"The hell with that! Why am I not being told anything?! I'm tired of being in the dark! I just saw the goddess but she looked almost unrecognizable-"
Sion stopped his rant as he sensed a group of people entering the abandoned factory.
"This..isn't over." He growled as he quickly and silently escaped from the abandoned factory, unaware of the changes happening in his body.
