Beautiful wife

She mustered courage and opened the door and went inside. "So much breaking. Are you getting into menopause?" She joked around as if she didn't care about what she heard before. He didn't reply to her, just remained seated in his place. Her eyes went towards the broken photo frame and the photo beneath the shattered glasses. It was her photo. The one he snapshots while they went out together. He still kept it. Maybe there was not much hatred like she thought, maybe he still cared for her like before but somewhere she was happy and somewhere she felt guilty about it. She wanted him to forget her and move on but she also didn't want it, she wanted him for her, like a selfish person.

She stepped towards the broken photo frame, she squatted down to pick it up when a hand stopped her from touching it.

She glanced up and it was him, stopping her from picking. He forcefully pulled her up, not even caring if she got hurt.

"Ouch! Be easy, man. It hurts" she commented on him being serious like that to her.

"Get out!" He shouted at her with a cold face. The last person he wanted to see right now was her. Was it not enough to hurt him and their child that year, that she comes back again to rub salt on his wound.

"Why so serious? It's just a photograph. That too of mine." She responded to him, blowing her wrist as if it hurt for real. Even though she acted like that from outside but inside, she was crying.

Knowing that she just came back only for a purpose and left him again like before. She was just opening his wound again and again like a crazy psychopath who loves seeing people in pain. Can this guilt be washed away?

Her words like a knife stabbing his heart. No, she was not the person he loved once. she was a completely different person with the same face.

"What did you say?" He glared at her and got up from his place and stepped closer to her. Sara was puzzled by what's suddenly wrong with him. She was afraid to see him like that, she tried to walk back but he grabbed her wrist and pin on the wall furiously, pinning both of her wrists on the wall with his, leaving no place for her to escape.

"What are you doing?" Sara gulped her saliva and looked at his eyes. They still look like how they were. Those golden orbs shining like a gem in the dark.

"Don't worry, I am not interested in you in any way. Just showing myself that I fall for someone like you in the past, who is nothing compared to my current girlfriend." He whispered in her words. His words were like daggers piercing through her soul, killing her alive.

She stood still, unable to breathe or move and holding her tears. She thought she would be fine if he was harsh on her but she never thought she was breaking apart with every word he said to her.

Sara took a deep breath and looked at his face smiling as nothing happened. Michael was a bit surprised at her behavior. She didn't even budge on her remark. Was she that heartless? In shock, his grip around her hand loosen up, which gave her the chance to move her hands freely.

'You can do it. You don't love him. You just need a child with him for your son. You can do it.' she said to herself in her head. She was trembling from inside, while the pain of him dating someone else was making her guilty and heartbroken. She still acted with no difference and wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her.

"Do you think I believe you don't like me anymore?" Sara sneered while moving her face closer to his.

Michael was melting away from her taking initiative. He gulped on his saliva, as she moved closer. Her smell tingled in the air making him go senseless. Her warm, soft pink lips, was making him go crazy. He wanted to kiss her, hug her and keep her all for himself.

Sara saw his eyes glued on her lips, she knew would it he will never like anyone else except her. He was only playing hard to get, knowing that she chuckled out softly.

One of her hands moved slowly downwards, to his chest, and then to his abdomen, it was about to slip inside his pants when he came back to his senses and stopped her hand from going further down.

"Why? Don't you want it?" She whispered in his ears and kissing his ear lobe.

"Stop it." He got furious with her being so shameless. He removed her hands and pinned her back on the wall and glared at her.

She was still smiling making him more furious.

"Why? Don't you hate me? I am giving you such a good opportunity to get revenge on me?" She raised one of her brows, smirking. As if she was challenging him. Michael scoffed at her remark and glared back at her.

"Revenge? Fine." He replied before pulling her with him. Sara didn't know what he was thinking but she tried to catch up with him. No matter what she has to do, it was her chance to get what she wants. He dragged her out of his office to the elevator.

He finally let go of her hand while waiting for the elevator. Sara pulled back her hand while waiting for it. Her hand was bruised from his tight grip.

"Look what you did to my hand. You should be careful when you have a beautiful wife like me." She joked around but Michael didn't even bat an eye toward her.
