Don't you see the monster

In a white, plain. There lay the body of a young woman, her face as pale as snow, her weak body laid there unmoved. Some people were standing beside checking on her, and all those tubules connected to her.

One of those doctors went out, "Sir, she is showing improvement." The doctor told the guy who was standing outside looking at her still body through the glass window. On hearing the doctor's words, he looked up at him.

He looked tired, he had big eye bags under his eyes, his face pale like a ghost, his clothes, and hairs disheveled. He put on a tired smile on the doctor's word.

He can't wait anymore, he pushed away from the doctor and dashed inside. He kneels on the cold hard floor and holds onto one of her hands, and places a kiss on it softly.

He can't hold back his tears anymore. The guilt was still eating him alive from all this year, he broke down into tears.

"I am sorry… Please wake up, Quin." Rayn begged her. He hates him. All these years, he is just wishing that she comes back to him. He doesn't mind if she still wants to leave him, he will agree to anything until she is happy and alive not like this.

He knows it's his fault before, he destroyed everything. He just needs one chance to change everything, just one. He already lost his daughter and even if his son survived, he

just grew to hate him more than anyone else.

Ryan sat down, crying. No one dared to come forward and console him. Everyone knows how crazy he can be but also pity him. These seven years, he never left her alone. How much he has to love her to be there for her every moment. He was vulnerable.

Suddenly, one of the doctors standing there saw the slight movement in Quin's finger. He went close to her and checked on her, she was waking up slowly.

He looked at Rayn, eyes glittered and excited to tell him the good news, "She is waking up." He said with excitement. Finally, their love stories will get a happy ending.

"W..water…" A small hoarse called out, Quin just opens up. Her vision was blurry, she felt like she was sleeping for long. She wanted to get up but her body was too weak, she can't do anything but call for help.

Where was she? What happens to her? And where are their children? She can't remember anything.

On hearing her voice, Rayn went close to her and helped to get some water. Quin saw him but she didn't say anything and only sipped some water he offered her. After drinking, she felt heavy again, and she laid down again and in no time she dozed off again.

Rayn was scared of seeing her dozing off again, he was about to wake her up when the doctors stopped him."She still needs rest, her body is still recovering." He made Rayn leave the room before running the test on Quinn. Ryan wanted to stay there but he had no other option than to go out and watch her from that glass window. He was so glad that he didn't care about anything. He just hopes she gets better, he can't live without her.

He remembered everything he did in the past to her, he was a monster. He hurt her so many times like she was an object. He talked about another girl in front of her, told her she is a plaything for him. What he didn't do to her? How can he be such a monster and live while she is on the bed like a living corpse?

He should have been there instead of her; he should have died instead of his daughter and unborn child, but he didn't go was sure cruel that he tortures not only him but also them? Why do they have to pay for the sins he did?

Sara went back to her house, Amy was still asleep when the maid came out to greet Sara. Sara didn't talk much, just a slight smile before she went upstairs to check on her daughter. She was sleeping peacefully on her bed, Sara sat down beside her. She looked at her, eyes trying to hold back her tears. She gently patted her head before dashing into the bathroom.

Sara locked the door and looked at her face in the mirror, the same familiar voice came from behind," Don't you see the monster?" She gulped feeling the sudden chill. She was scared, she didn't know who it was or why that voice but what she knew was that she was really scared of it.
