In Love.

Author's point of view:

Jirae woke up, the sunlight hitting his face, chirping of birds ringing in his ears. He opened his eyes slowly, blinking a few times as to adjust to the bright light, turning around finding himself and Jirae naked, just like how they were last night.

Memories flooded his mind. Minjun held him, held him like he was precious like he was everything in his eyes. Never once did Jirae expect that he'd find someone like him, someone who loved him, loved him for himself and not for his figure or body.

Jirae then heard a knock, a call of his name, the noise increasing by the second as Jirae woke Minjun up quickly, as fast as he could as he himself was panicked, scared of people discovering the love and feelings shared behind closed doors.

"Quick, go and hide in the garden, Jun! Someone's here!" Jirae whispers yelled at Minjun, the built male finding his way to Jirae's flower garden, taking in the heartwarming smell the flowers gave off. Jirae smelt like them.

"The minister asked us to check on you since you weren't at work yesterday," A monotonous voice was heard, Minjun could see Jirae standing there, in front of him three guards were. One looked like the head officer, the other two beside him as he ordered,

"You may leave and patrol the roads, I'll talk to master Kim here," The guards leaving Jirae and the head officer alone, Jirae pulling him in closer, inside the house, shutting the door close, the bang echoing through the silent house.

"S-Sungho..." Taehyung broke into sobs, clutching the man's clothing, pearl-like crystal tears leaving his eyes, the male wrapping his arms around Jirae, rubbing soothingly, comforting as the beauty calmed down slowly before wiping his tears, hugging the male back hurrying his head on the guard's broad chest, Minjun's jealousy bubbling.

"Jirae... shush, it's fine, don't cry now..." Sungho comforted Jirae who had calmed down, wiping his tears that had formed again, pulling back from the hug, looking at Sungho before speaking,

"Sungho, I fell in l-love with someone..." Jirae's voice was a weak whispered, barely a murmur, scared for the future, shaky as he collected himself before looking right into Sungho's eyes,

"I fell in love with someone, Sungho," His words were strong this time, the sincerity obvious before he held the guard's hand, pulling him deeper into his house, to the beautiful garden he owned.

"Junnie, you can come out now!" Jirae's voice stronger, louder, eyes searching for the one that treated him oh so, lovely, affectionately, preciously, as if the beauty valued more than anything. Jirae came out from his hiding, clearly nervous, heartbeat erratic, breathing heavy, the hot sun burning his pale skin as he looked at Sungho for a nanosecond, turning his attention towards Jirae the next second, caught up in the beauty's addicting orbs.

"He, he is the man who I fell in love with, Ho," Jirae pointed at Minjun, his hand tight around Sungho's wrist as the guard's eyes widened for a second, shocked, surprised, happy in a way, but also scared. He just didn't want the past repeating itself in the future, it'd be a nightmare, at least for Taehyung.

"Jirae, you know I want the best for you. You also that it'd break me to see you broken, Rae. Last time you, you were shattered, darling. Whatever you decide on this, just decide wisely. I can't afford to see you like that again, please..."

Sungho's words were a little unsteady, unstable, worried, caring, hands gripping Jirae's broad shoulders, eyes darting from Jirae to Minjun, meeting the archaeologist's eyes before looking up, at the sky, making out the time.

"I need to go. You know how harsh your father is, Jirae," Jirae hummed, letting the guard go, hugging him one last time, walking him to the front door, smiling at him.

"I promise to protect you both, Rae but, if you need to let him go, you have to. Just promise me that, Jirae. You know what I mean." That was what Sungho last whispered to Jirae before heading out to fulfill his duty, after getting Jirae to promise him, of course.

Jirae went back in, finding Minjun in the small room he had, the archaeologist biting the skin on his fingernails anxiously, leg bouncing up and down before snapping his head up, sensing Jirae's presence, looking into his eyes.

"Why are you so nervous, Jun?" Jirae questioned, sitting down beside Minjun, his hand massaging the other man's scalp softly, soothingly, Minjun sighing as he felt the tension in him ease a little at Jirae's loving gesture.

"To Sungho..." Minjun started slowly, turning his head to look at Jirae, sighing in content as his chocolate brown orbs made contact with the beauty's hazel ones before laying down, calming his nerves a little but it only increased as Jirae lifted his head up and brought it to his lap.

"You said that you loved me to Sungho, is it true, Jirae?" Minjun questioned, scared of rejection, nervously fumbling with his now clammy hands. It was obvious, you might say, Jirae loved Minjun but, the archaeologist needed confirmation, not assumption.

"Yes, Min... why would I lie, hmm? I love you, I'm in love with you," Jirae confirmed, answering with the words Minjun needed to hear but, those words were anything but a lie, it was evident with the way Jirae bent down and kissed Minjun, slowly, softly, sweetly.

"Are we lovers then, Rae? Are you mine now?" Minjun questioned, a whisper against the other male's lips, sitting up, holding Jirae's waist with his muscular arms, a tight hold, but it was soft enough to prove how much the archaeologist valued the beauty.

"I... I can't be so sure about that, Junnie... I love you, I really do, but here, now, in this hell, we're living in, I can't be so sure about that, heck, I'm not sure about anything anymore!" Jirae's words were thick, emotions lacing themselves on his deep, silky voice, the tremble visible, he was vulnerable, hazel orbs glossing over, just a little, enough to make it visible, an opening to the raw emotion he felt.

"Is there at least a chance, Rae? A chance for you to be mine...?" Minjun questioned softly, voice wavering a little, dark brown eyes soft as they looked into beautiful hazel ones, damn, Minjun was mesmerized, Jirae's beauty mesmerized him and now, he wants the beauty to himself.

"There is a chance, Jun but, it depends on you, your choice, Minjun, on what extent you'd dare go to keep me yours," Jirae sighed, a shaky breath leaving his pink, plump, parted lips, "And you know nothing about my past, Jun."

"Then tell me, Rae, tell me everything and I'll listen, I won't leave you, no matter what," Minjun demanded softly, fingers finding their way to the beauty's face, caressing his cheek, the golden skin so smooth, Jirae leaning into the loving touch, a silent promise sealed.

"I've been stalling these days and guess it really is about time you know the truth, huh?" A humourless chuckle slipping past the beauty's lips, standing up suddenly, offering his hand to Minjun who took it, "We're going to the river, Jun, and then, you'll find out what you deserve to know."
