"I-it's fully booked!? B-but... This... I placed a booking for our stay before arriving!" I gasped, flustered from the shocking news as I flashed my phone screen to the receptionist.


She smiles professionally, although I could tell how frustrated she was with trying to explain herself to me. She barely even looked at the screen on my phone before giving me a standardised reply.


"I'm sorry to inform you sir, but all of our rooms are occupied as of now. The only thing I can suggest to you, is if you were to wait until checkout which is at 12pm. Even then, it's not guaranteed that I can secure the room you want. Especially so if you want a specific room with individual beds." the receptionist smiles, almost as if she were waiting for me to give in.


"T-then... what about the money I spent on the room? I've already paid." I frowned, showing her the booking number as she simply smiles.
