Lenford : Calm Before The Storm

I waved Len goodbye, watching him shut the door behind him as he left to purchase me a fresh set of clothing. I didn't want to make him run my errand for me, but in this sopping wet state, I doubt any store would let me in.

I then peeled off the shirt clinging to my body, annoyed as it was a shirt I chose specifically for our date today before pausing. I recall father calling me, so he was most likely unhappy for my sudden leave.

I rolled my eyes and sat back onto the bench of the locker room, unlocking my phone's screen as I went through my list of contacts. Seemingly finding the right contact, I dialed the number and let the line ring before someone answered on the other line.

"Hello. I need to ask you a favor—" I briefly chatted with the person on the other line, stating my request as the other party accepted.

After settling our deals, I hung up and glanced at my phone. It had only been a few minutes since Len had left, so it was too soon to be worried about him.
