Dameon: A Moment Of Realisation

I woke up to an empty bed and a dimly lit room, dressed in a light satin robe I didn't recognise. I brushed my fingers over the other side of my bed, the sheets cool to the touch as I sighed disheartenedly.

I pulled the covers off me, hugging the satin robe closer to my body as I rubbed my shoulders. My feet touched the cool marble floor before I headed for the heater to turn it on.

When I reached it, I paused in my tracks and realised that it had been broken for awhile since I kept pushing off the urgency to repair it and now it had come back to bite me in the back. I frowned and settled on the next best thing, heading straight for the bathroom as I readied the bathtub to warm me up.

Since the rest of my home was chilly, I sat in the bathroom while watching the bathtub fill up. As I stared at the water pouring into the tub, my mind began to wander.
