Doyle POV - Shaken Not Stirred

I glanced at the time, growing uneasy for some unknown reason as I stared at the phone held precariously with my fingertips. I had managed to get through to Len earlier and he had even reassured me that he only had a few more things to attend to before returning home.

However, I couldn't shake the uncomfortable feeling that something was amiss. There really was no reason to stay in the office overnight and into the next day even if it was for work.

I frowned to myself, deciding to call him one more time to maybe clear this unease in my chest but it doesn't go through. I reassured myself that his battery could be dead and paced the floor as I tried to stay positive.

However, as the seconds ticked by, I couldn't stop myself and slipped on a coat before heading straight for the office. There wasn't really a problem with me visiting, the only issue was I couldn't outright help out with pressing matters except consulting due to the conditions of my hands.
