Len's POV: A Place Of Comfort

I awoke the next day with a terrible ache in my back and lower half as I let out a groan without meaning to. Dameon then coincidentally enters the room with a refreshed look on his face as he smiled when our gazes locked.

"You're awake. I thought you were going to be out for much longer since you were sleeping like the dead." He joked when I narrowed my eyes and glanced towards the digital clock on his end table.

The time read that it was sometimes around three in the afternoon when I gasped. Thinking it was perhaps wrong, I searched for my phone, only to find it out of juice and mimicking a brick when Dameon extends his hand to offer me a helping hand to charge the phone in hand.
