I REPEATEDLY REJECTED MY CRUSH THIS WHOLE TIME?!

Marinette's POV

I woke up in my room. The lights were off so I couldn't see very clearly.

The last thing I remembered was a cloth on my mouth.

"W-what happened? Where am I?" I asked.

"You were kidnapped by the Evillustrator. But Chat Noir handled everything, including de-evilising the akuma. He also brought you home." Tikki explained.

"HE DID EVERYTHING?!?!?!" I shouted.

"I feel so useless." I said, disappointed in myself.

"It's okay M'lady. We're all human, and it's the least I can do since you've saved me all the time." Someone in the dark said.

HOLD ON. ONLY ONE PERSON CALLED ME M'LADY, AND I WAS IN MY CIVILIAN FORM. IT COULDN'T BE, COULD IT?

"Chat Noir?" I choked out.

He knew my secret. He KNEW MY SECRET.

"You know? Who told you?" I asked. Curiosity filling me.

"Tikki told me when you were kidnapped." He answered.

"TIKKI! WHY?!?!?!?!" I shouted. I was slightly mad. I expected my reveal to go differently.

"I had to. I needed to find help." She reasoned.

"M'lady? Since I know your identity, it's only fair you know mine." He said.

He was going to REVEAL HIMSELF to ME RIGHT NOW?!

"Plagg, Claws In." He said

Green light surrounded him. I closed my eyes and when I opened it. It was ADRIEN.

I stared at him for a few minutes before panicking. I let out a scream.

MY PARTNER, MY FRIEND was also MY CRUSH, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. I REJECTED HIM REPEATEDLY. I REJECTED MY CRUSH REPEATEDLY.

"I-I'm sorry," I said. Tears filling my eyes. All the things he'd done for me.

Sacrificing his life for mine. Encouraging me. Comforting me, when all I've done was cause him so much pain. I was a stuttering mess around him in my civilian form, and even with a mask on, I treated him horribly.

"For what?" He asked.

"F-for being awkward around you, for rejecting you and...." Before I could finish one sentence, I was sobbing.

"I-M'lady you did nothing wrong." He comforted.

"B-but," Marinette began.

"I'm not Ladybug, I-I, I'm just plain, old Marinette," Marinette said quietly, her voice almost a whisper.
