#FOLLOWING BREADCRUMBS#

ALEX'S POV

After Stacy willingly ate me hungrily all the while sucking my juices Ryan had cleared his throat. Catching our attention his eyes seemed to wonder and glaze over with envious lust.

Wilson ended up taking a second round inside her making her moan endlessly and screaming out of pure desire.

I returned to the house only to change into a black shirt and tight black jeans to meet Ryan in his car.

"You seemed to have convinced Wilson" Ryan says. I eye his features from the side and ask out of curiosity.

"And you?"

"Not yet but that was a great start." He says. I stifle a chuckle knowing he approved it as loyalty but of course there was more to this and he was just warming up to me.

We end up back at the Empire where the wedding was held. The scene looked hollow; void of anyone's presence. It was deserted and had no glamour to it. The only thing that drastically brought out the view was the yellow tape securing the premises.

A few of us had made our way through as I find myself at the scene of a crime. Our solid boots bounced off of the marble encased floors echoing through the crisp yet elegant wallpapered room.

I remember the ticking of Ryan's analogue watch. The click of heels. And then the sudden gasp of the audience as a sharp intake of breath leaves a woman in white bleeding to death.

I looked through the floor to ceiling, multi squared window just where the victim breathed her last. Seeing the outline of her body that was chalked out by the police I squat by the outline of her head and raise my eyes to a mid-level finding the perfect place set for a sniper.

"The shot came from the building across isn't it?" Wilson speaks while looking out the same floor to ceiling window. I shake my head and notice her body lying precisely in between a 45 degree angle.

"What's the building called?" I ask as Ryan answers deliberately.

"It's still under construction, perfect for the shooter." He says as the few men retreat but standstill when I speak loud enough for the words to echo through the hall.

"No. It's the tower to the left of the building under construction where the shooter took aim from."

"That building is owned by the richest people in the city. It's a renowned night club, casino and the most exclusive hotel. Everyone knows 'LUXOR'..." Wilson states while naming the well-known tower.

"All the more reason for us to join them." I say giving a fake smile.

"It just so happens the owner of the hotel is throwing a party for its 10th Anniversary." Ryan says while tucking his phone back into his jeans as we follow him out.

"Now Boys, dress yourselves aptly tonight. After all, it is a celebration."

Fitting myself into a black, long sleeved and skin tight dress, I slide into grey, suede, ankle- heeled boots. I clip on a studded necklace and slide on a few rings. Brushing on neutral skin toned make-up with thick eye liner and mascara I was walking to the white tinted limousine parked just outside the house.

Ryan opens the door for me while slipping a compliment by my ears as I settle next to him. We made small talk as to how we were to enter the tower. I look over the invitation card made by Wilson's twin; Nathan. Wilson who was an ash coloured blonde was completely opposite from Nathan; dark haired although they both shared the same light grey eyes.

Nathan instructed us from the small ear pieces he gave Ryan and I whereas Wilson and the boys wore the proper ear piece for they were security guards at the casino and a few stationed as bouncers. We were set as Ryan and I enter the lobby as 'rich civilians'. I smirk at Ryan's expensive tux and link my arm into his as he grins my way while handing the invitation card.

The lady wearing an emerald green dress winks at Ryan making me want to punch her perfect teeth down her throat accepting the card with a nod. I hold it in and give her the sweetest smile I could muster. We both take the elevators and enter the wild mist of neon secondary coloured, laser beaming lights at the night club.

Along with the rhythm of the music making my heat beat wild I pull Ryan into the string of busy bodies. I enjoy the song and see Ryan smirking at me. I close the gap between us feeling his hot breath tickle my nose just as an eruption of applause and lurid cheers goes around. I look past Ryan and see a man around his late 40's raising a champagne bottle as the celebration of the 10th Anniversary gets announced.

I hear Nathan's deep voice and that's when Ryan and I slip out of the crowd disappearing up the stairs to the hotel rooms. It was much quite up here as I tug Ryan's arm. He looks worriedly then sees me pointing to the open stairwell window. His eyes widen as we both stare down at the Empire hall down to our far right.

Brushing the gun powder off the sill I pick up the shell casing of a bullet as we both head upstairs for we had been warned by Nathan.

We end up on the top floor hurriedly. I smile when I hear a loud noise from above. Pushing the door open I see a black helicopter placed perfectly on the helipad as Ryan and I climb in and vanish into the night as if we were never here to begin with.
