Ch 34: Jura Tempest alliance.
It was a day after the Orcs defeat.
"Chair man Rimuru tempest please begin the conference." Treyni says

Rimuru not answering Nekra steps in.
"That was a fast war Nya." Nekra says sitting next to where Treyni was standing.
"So... all in favor of making Rimuru our conference leader say I nya." Nekra says
"I" Treyni says
"I" the lizard chieftain says
"I" several of the orcs says
"Of course I." Benimaru says
"Nya I" Nekra says
"What! But your the demon lord!" Rimuru shouts as Nekra.
"Correction I am a demonlord, but Thad doesn't mean I want to govern. Even older sister Milim doesn't govern her territories nya." Nekra says
Treyni nods in response.
"Before we begin the conference, I wish to share the information I have gathered then." Rimuru says
Everyone looks at the slime in anticipation.
And then she conveys the story of the cause for the Orc uprising, and their current situation.
The orc representatives, not expecting her to bring these things up, stared at Rimuru with wonder.
There a few who shed tears listening to Rimuru.
The orcs seemed convinced they would be put under the axe without a chance to defend themselves.
Rimuru then continued the conference giving Hakurou some sort of signal.
"Ahem! Now then, the first let's confirm the casualties." Rimuru says
And thus the discussion started.
Lizardmen's head discussed their casualties.
Listening to his report, the Orcs hid their faces and stayed silent.
"Now then, Head-dono, do you have any demands for the orcs" Rimuru asks
"What about you Nekra?" Rimuru asks
"Nya, I'm good. They were just soldiers of stone and dirt." Nekra says
After discussing the losses, the discussion proceeded to discuss appropriate payment.
'Although auntie Rimuru has never actually experienced war she's pretty good at this.' Nekra thinks
As Rimuru starts getting into the conversation about fair compensation which is lesser in this timeline thanks to Nekra stepping in and saving a few lizards.
"Nothing specific. This victory was not wrought by our strength. We were saved by Rimuru-dono and Nekra-sama." The Chief says
Abandoning the right to reparations, the Chief thus replied.
Not like they could do much in the first place, though with their poor skill and little merit.
Alright. Let's let the orcs speak now, but when Slime seems to have just looked at them
"Please pardon my interruption! Please allow me to compensate for this incident with my life! Of course, I understand that it is not enough, but I have no followers to add!" An Orc Generals calls out, bowing on the ground before me...
'Me? It should be Rimuru...' nekra thinks
"I have become a B rank monster, and gained quite a lot of magical energy, so please forgive the rest with my death!" Is what he says.
Not that I'm planning on that, but that's not the problematic point.
Damn it, conferences are annoying.
Let's just do this my way.
"I am just here because this is technically my territory Nya. I'm not the one that runs it, I'm to lazy to be like other demon lords which scam people nya. I'm a cat Nya." Nekra says causing the slime to 'giggle?' I think it was a giggle.
"Wait. Rimuru-sama has something to say!" Hakurou intervened.
The Orc General shut up, and looked at auntie Rimuru.
The rest, as well, quietly waited for her to speak. Just the atmosphere that auntie Rimuru just hates.
"Umm, so this is my first conference, so I'm not sure I can handle this well. Thus, I'll just say what I think. After that, I want you all to discuss my words" Rimuru says expertly.

Rimuru's POV.
Having said that I proceeded to discuss my thoughts.
First, that I thought that we should not pursue the discussion about the orcs' sins.
Next, that I wanted to continue the alliance with the Lizardmen.
And finally, that I wanted the orcs to join that alliance.
"And those are my thoughts. I bet you have many things you want to say, but know this: I will not permit any punishment to befall the orcs. That is because I have thus promised to Orc Disaster. I will bear all their sins. If you got something to complain about, let me hear it!"
So I declared.
The orcs stared at me amazed.
In contrast to them, the Head asked a question.
"We are completely satisfied with what you have said. However, we do have a question…"
"What is it?" Rimuru replies
"Now that the war has ended, why do we need an alliance?" The lizard head/chief asks
"About that, huh. To explain..." Rimuru says

Back to Nekra.
"That's an easy question nya." Nekra says
"Really?" Rimuru asks
"Yeah, humans are stupid, once they find out about how we killed an orc lord they will send their armies after us nya. I should know I have had to fight a few armies in the past nya." Nekra says putting everyone in awe.
"Why are the orcs joining?" The chief asks
'Is this lizard man dumb?' Nekra thinks.
"Labor nya... Rimuru only has a few wolfs and like 60 goblins nya, do you have any clue how understaffed she is nya. Not to mention orcs are strong especially High orcs after they get named nya." Nekra says looking at the lizard like he's an idiot.

Rimuru's Pov.
'I know what Ains feels like... I didn't even come up with that but she thought of it from my words alone like it was all my intention... Wait she's smiling at me! She's purposely putting words in my mouth that are not even mine!' Rimuru shouts in her head realizing what's happening completely missing the fact Nekra called Rimuru she. No one else missed it though and looks at the slime slightly surprised.
'What are they surprised I thought this far ahead, I mean I came up with it 10 minutes ago but still.' Rimuru thinks.

Nekra's pov.
Nekra smiles knowing she's successfully trolled her aunt.
"If you would have us that would be more than we could ever ask for." The same orc general replies.
"Of course." Rimuru says realizing she's going to need to name them all.
