Competition (2)

The rest of the matches were boring and not as interesting as the match with jong-ji and Yean-chu, the girls said. The rest of the matches went on and Yean-chu got third and it was time for the last and final match. It was time to decide who was first and who was second. The competition didn't matter much to jong-ji but he promised Eun-Kyung and he was also interested in the rewards the system would give when he gets first place.

"Jong-ji vs Lu-shin"

Jong-ji went on the stage and waited for his opponent. When the opponent came onto stage, jong-ji was full of disgust. The opponent, Lu-shin was one of those arrogant young master types. They were the ones who left when the demon invasion started in his past life. Lu-shin had a handsome face but not as much as jong-ji, he was proud of himself and waved at the girls. He was one of those popular types and some girls looked at him with disgust. Lu-shin said

"Hey you, you better surrender now or you might get hurt."

Jong-ji ingnored him and looked around while picking his ear.

"You bastard, you will regret this" Lu-shin said while being angered that jong-ji ingnored him.

He used fire to make a fire whip. Mana can be used for different elements of magic and skills which required Mana. Lu-shin used the whip and hit it at jong-ji. But jong-ji used Mana to cover his hand and stopped the whip.

"Hahaha" Lu-shin laughed but as he saw that jong-ji had not been screaming in pain nor his hands get burnt, he said

"How??? why aren't you in pain" as he screamed. Jong-ji knew that the opponent had much more Mana than him. So, he put 2 stat points each into strength, intelligence and agility.

Lu-shin then made the whip disappear.

"It seems that I have to beat some sense into you" as he made numerous fire balls behind him. Jong-ji activated the shadow-step skill and moved towards to his opponent as he didn't want to waste Mana on a magic-fight. Lu-shin shot the fire balls and jong-ji stopped and made a stone wall infront if him.

"How, how can a waste like you control an element?"

Jong-ji moved faster and Lu-shin shot even more fire balls but he was frightened that jong-ji was coming closer and he lost accuracy over the shots which made jong-ji easy to avoid. A person who only use magic had a big weakness, they were weak in close combat. There were many who train both but later they just prioritize in one as it cosumed too much time.

Jong-ji was now near enough to make a hit and he concentrated Mana on his hand to make the impact stronger and he hit Lu-shin, he was thrown out of the ring with brusies and wounds all over his body with torn apart clothes.jong-ji left the stage as everyone had their jaws down.
