For Ava, things weren't going well as she had planned from the previous night.

It was clear that she wasn't willing to stop the affair and for Kara, guilt was surfacing her mind after looking into Martha's eyes Halloween morning. She was seated on the couch when Ava passed her without saying a word straight to her vehicle and drove off.

She had to be fast enough and luckily Martha was on foot. Before Ava could get to the cafeteria, she had to get Ben to play his role because Martha wasn't expecting him to be at the furniture shop. She arrived and parked behind the store walking into young Stuart who was throwing in the morning new paper.

"Sorry miss." Snapped Stuart after knocking Ava off her stance.

"It's alright. Hello you?" greeted Ava snapping Ben to turn around.

"Hello!happy Halloween stranger." Responded Ben grabbing a wipe from the table. "To what do I owe this early visit."

"To my sins." Joked Ava. "I need to ask you for a favor Ben."

"If I can afford it. Yes. Go on."

"I need a table at my cottage. Can you help me deliver it in my track of course. Kara is at the house."

Ben quickly picked up the small table Ava had paid for and the car taking it to the truck.

Ava then hurriedly walked to the cafeteria ordering for a whole cake to her table.

As Ben was driving to Ava's cottage, she obviously caught Martha's eye but since she had seen the car back at the house, it wasn't a doubt that he really was doing what Kara had described.

He arrived the cottage knocking on the door when Kara came out to see who it was.

"I got a delivery." Said Ben loudly.

"You. How are you Ben." Greeted Kara getting into her night gown.

"A table." Snapped Ben carrying it in his hand.

"Why the table?"

"Ava says she needs it. Do you mind. I'm tiring out already. This thing is heavy."

"Okay. Come in."

As soon as Ava took a seat at the table, Martha matched in with a large smile straight to were she was.

"Hello! Happy Halloween. " greeted Martha.

"Happy Halloween bae." Responded Ava in a lower tone so she wouldn't be heard.

It wasn't that long when the wait arrived at their table with a Halloween painted cake of a pumpkin head.

"Here you go." Said the lady.

",thank you." Politely responded Ava. "This is for you Martha. Wanted to make you this. Hope you like it."

"Of course. Though I knew of a gift. Never expected this." Answered she.

"Be my date for the night. At the festival?"

"Of course. Who would you take if it's not me." Chuckled Martha.

"A man. Just as everyone in this town hope for. I don't even think you can dance around and not be uttered out."

"It's not a bad place though."

It wasn't that long stuck into there moment when Dante arrived inside the cafeteria noticing them at the table.

"Hey guys, guess who is here?" Bragged he walking towards them with a couple of two other boys.

"Hey you. It's been peaceful when you weren't around." Stated Ava giving him a gaze.

He arrived the table picking up the knife that was rapped in a serviette rolling it at it's tip.

"What do you think is happening here." Chuckled he to his guys. "Were did you dump my puppet?"

"Don't play with sharp things boy. You're still a child." Muttered Ava looking at the spinning knife.

It was much of a surprise to Martha because she had not the idea that her new girlfriend was already having wrungles around the town.

"What's going on please?" She asked.

"Quiet you. You don't have a say to any of this." Replied Dante.

"What is it you want from me Dante?" Asked Ava.

"I want you to pay for  disrespecting me." Gubbled he taking the knife into the cake as he saw his way to one of the tables.

"Village boys." Smirked Martha cutting a slice of cake for Ava.

"Excuse me miss?" Called Ava. "I guess we're done here. Give me the bill."

"Can you even pay what you ate? " mumbled Dante seeking praise from his buddies.

"Everyone here reads the paper. Except you cause if you did, you would know that I can afford feeding you for the rest of your life." Responded Ava paying her been then quiet to get a thought out. She then continued adding five more notes of cash on the cashier's tray. "I will by all their drinks. Keep the change please. "

As loud as she could to make Dante mad then walking out with Martha when she suddenly questioned her.

"Can't you just ignore those fools?"

"They attacked us first. He likes bullying so much but I won't let him. Not to Kara. Never. I can beat him up." Said she seriously.

"You're for real? You can beat him up?"

"Of course. I just hope he doesn't provoke me to."

They walked towards the furniture store when they bumped into Ben returning. He parked right infront of them smirking to what he was about to say.

"Kara invited me to the festival. Isn't that crazy luck." Muttered he shaking Ava by the shoulders.

"Yeah. We are happy for you man." Grimmed Martha mimming as if she wasn't pleased.

"If you had, you wouldn't say that." Uttered Ben handing the keys to Ava walking passed them.
