I looked at Limp, as she did not have her eyes focused on me any more. As she should not as well, her eyes were on Shilo and Steve, as I too was wondering what it was that could possibly be going on right now. I had just seen Steve acting perfectly fine just a few moments ago.
I saw Steve rolling around, and his body was having all different types of crazy spasms as well. I stared at him a bit surprised for a few moments, as then some old memories came back to me, which were a bit scary to think about as well. I closed my eyes, trying to shake it off but it was too late, and it was now swarming me.
I heard the footsteps of Limp, as she was quickly running over to figure out what was wrong with Steve, and how to help him as well. My mind was not focused on that at the exact moment however, as I was thinking about that night where I had lost my only friend that I had ever had for quite a long time.
I looked at my friend Tristan, as he was almost like a father to me as well. He taught me the difference between what was right, and what was wrong. He could be mean at times, in fact, but I knew that he was only trying to teach me how to be a good cat like him.
I watched him, as he took the first couple of bites into the wetfood. I always let him take the first few bites, just out of respect for him. He would always leave plenty for me as well, so I was not too worried about any of it in the first place.
I was a bit hungry though in fact, as my claws were digging into the fresh carpet, which was loud enough for Tristan to hear as well. He turned his head around at me and then he stared me down a bit upset at me for a few moments, as I was also a bit confused as to how that was so.
He looked at me for a few moments, as he squinted his eyes at me at first. Then he rolled his eyes, as he turned his head around the corner to where our owners room was at. I turned my head around as well, wondering what it was that he was thinking about, but then I turned my head back around to him as I then heard him begin to speak.
"Don't do that Moon... You will get us in a lot of trouble if our owner sees a hole in the carpet like that." He said to me. I looked at him for a few moments, as I then took what he had just said to me into account as well. I then lowered my head to the ground, as I was a bit embarrassed, but I was more upset at myself for not thinking that through too.
I sat there for a few moments, as I saw that Tristan was looking at me a bit sadly for a few moments, which I was not sure as to why that could be so as well. I looked up at him, still quite a bit embarrassed but I began to speak back to him as a response to what he had just said to me.
"I am sorry, I am just hungry... I did not think about that, you are right, that is my fault..." I said to him. He looked at me for a few moments, as he squinted his eyes at me again. I felt a bit embarrassed about it once again, but then his eyes went back to normal, and he nodded to me.
I calmed myself down a bit at the same time too, as I could tell that I was freaking out a bit, as if I had done something that was far worse than that as well. I was happy to see that he was not too angry at me for doing what I had just done.
"You don't need to apologize to me... If it were me I would let you scratch up this carpet all that you want... But the owner will be very mad if you do that, and he might really hurt you again, like he had done last time." He said to me. I looked at him for a few more moments as I then shivered, remembering what he had meant by last time.
I had scratched the tom owner because he was yelling at me, and getting in my face because I had left a big hole in the carpet, and he had gotten so mad at me that he had hit me across the room, and I had landed up against the wall in quite a bit of pain.
I wondered if he had done that on purpose as well, or if it was because he was just so angry at me. I had a feeling that he had done it on purpose though, as he was in fact quite a mean twoleg to be my owner. I had heard a lot better things from other cats about their owners...
I saw that Tristan was still staring at me at the same time for just a few moments longer as well, as I then nodded to him to let him know that I had heard what he had just said to me. He squinted his eyes at me once again, and I realized that I needed to speak to let him know for sure as well. I looked him in the eyes and then I began to speak to him.
"You can go ahead and eat, I am hungry and I do not want to be waiting all day." I said to him. He looked at me for just a few moments longer, and then he nodded to me. I looked at him for just a bit longer, as he then turned his head away from me, and back over to the food that was directly in front of him.
He then walked over to it, as he then began to eat up into the wet food, which was the best part of the meal all of the time. The dry food was just so that we did not starve, the flavor was kind of bland for it. I shook my head as I then looked away from Tristan, and out to the window that was in front of us.
It was a foggy and gloomy morning, as it had been storming all night long, making it hard for me to get some sleep as well. I could already tell for some odd reason or another, that it was going to be a bad day for me. I shook my head as I then looked back over to Tristan.
I looked at him for a few moments, as I noticed that he had just decided to stop eating. He was still standing there, as if he was going to keep eating, but he was not... I stared at him, a bit confused as to what it was that could be going on with him.
I looked at the large bowl of food that was in front of us, as it looked as if he had barely eaten a single bite of it. Was he hungry or not? It seemed as if, by the look in his eyes, as though he was lost in a deep train of thought at the same time as well.
My stomach then began to growl quite loudly, as I remembered how hungry I was in the first place. I shook my head, if he was not going to eat, than I certainly would. I began to walk over to the food pile, but as I got a bit closer, out of the corner of my eye I saw Tristan shake his head at me.
I looked at him a bit confused as to what it was that was going on with him at the exact moment. I stared at him right in his eyes, as he stared back at me for a few moments. He opened his mouth as if he was about to speak to me, but no words came out.
I stared at him as I had no idea what he was doing, or what was going on with him. He sat there, staring back at me for quite some time, as I then suddenly noticed that his eyes had randomly gone foggy, like the sky was outside right now.
I looked at him, as I was a bit scared as to what it was that could be going on with him at the moment. He sat there still for a few moments, as he then suddenly fell down to the ground right in front of me. I moved back a he took a big thunk as he hit the floor right beside me.
He suddenly began to start convulsing, and I sat there a bit scared, not sure what it was that I should do. I looked around, as I looked for something that could possibly help him, but I just could not see anything. I just sat there, still, not sure what I should do to try and help him.
I was going to start yelling for help for my female owner, but I knew that she was not here right now, she always left the place on days like these. I knew that the male owner was not here either, though I had much doubt as if he would help us at all.
I looked at Tristan, as I moved a bit closer, as if me being near him might help him. But as I moved closer to him, blood began to spit out of his mouth, as the convulsing began to get louder and louder, and he was shaking all over the floor in front of me.
I had no clue as to what it was that was going on with him. And I was scared to try and help him, due to the fear of me feeling like I might just make it worse as well. I then saw him suddenly begin to stop, and it calmed me down for just a few moments, as I saw his stomach moving back and forth, showing me that he was breathing.
I took in a sigh of relief, which seemed like bad timing, as I then saw that he had suddenly stopped breathing, and he was now completely still. I stared at him for a few moments, just wondering what had just happened in front of my eyes, and also wondering if there was anything I could have done to help him.
As I saw that he had not begun his breathing, I then began to freak out even more as well. I stared at him for a few moments, as I then moved closer to try and feel his body for any sign of a pulse, or to see if his body was getting colder than normal.
As I got close to him, I half expected him to try and jump out and scare me, as he tended to do when he did things such as these. This time he did not do so however, as I began to freak out all the more. I realized that something was not right with him.
As I got closer, I moved my head up onto his chest, to try and see if he had any sign of a pulse. I did not feel, nor did I hear anything come from out of his body. I sat there for a few moments, as I expected to feel a little beat of a heart at any time, but he was just staying still.
I then began to feel his body begin to get colder and colder by the moment. It then dawned on me at the same time as well, that this was not a joke at all... I tried one last time to see if he had a pulse, but it seemed to do no such good at all.
I then began to freak out, as I had no idea what it was that I should do. I began to run around in circles, trying to think of some way to help him, and to try and bring him back to life as well. I sat there and then I stood still, as I realized that he was gone now, and there was nothing that could be done.
I looked around, wondering as to what it was that could have caused it. I did not want to look over at his body any longer, but I did so anyways, as I looked there, and I noticed that there was some wet food on the blood that had been splattered all along the floor that was in front of me.
I looked at it for a few moments, as it then suddenly began to dawn on me, as to what it was that could have possibly caused this to happen to him. I then looked over at the bowl of food that was in front of me, and I squinted my eyes at it.
It all suddenly came on me, as I realized what had just happened to him. I saw the male owner doing something to the wet food earlier this morning, but I did not think about what it could have been at the moment, because I did not care for the male owner at all.
I wish I had payed attention now, because if I had in fact done so, than maybe Tristan would not be laying dead in front of me. I stared at his body for a few moments longer, as it hurt me to see his body limp on the ground in front of me like that.
He meant so much to me, and he was practically all that I had in my life in the first place as well. I stared at the ground, as I felt pain slicing into my heart at the same time as well. I thought back on the day that my mother had died as well, when I was much younger than I was now.
It hurt me to think about it too, as she had spasms like he had, but she did not spit out blood like he had. I knew why he had spit out blood though, as I began to draw all the more angry at the same time as well. I then opened my eyes, as the landed directly on the bowl of food that was in front of me.
I looked at it for a few more moments, as it seemed like there was nothing that was special about it at all, but I was not a dumb cat, and I knew what the owner had put in that food... I then drew closer to the bowl, as I thought about biting into it at the same time as well.
If I did that, than maybe I would be up in a better place with Tristan and my mother... I moved my mouth, as I began to try and bite into it at the same time, just as he had done, but then suddenly I saw a glimmer of something from the corner of my eyes.
I looked over at it, for just a second, I thought that I had seen a cat in front of me, but I did not see anything there any longer, as it seemed as though it were just a figment of my imagination. I then looked back over at the bowl of food that was in front of me.
I then saw it suddenly begin to stumble, and it fell onto the ground beside me, I looked at it a bit confused, and a bit surprised as to how it had just done that in the first place as well... It was a strong and sturdy bowl of food.
There was no wind, as all of the windows were closed, and I had been nowhere near it either. I looked back at the remnants of the food that were now scattered all over the floor that was in front of me. I stared at it for a few moments, as I then turned my head back over to Tristan.
I saw his body staring down in front of me, and I then began to move closer over to it. I sat there for just a bit longer, as I then fell down onto the floor. I began to yell in pain, and in anger at the same time, at the top of my lungs, though I knew that no one could hear me, and even if they could, I had little doubt as to whether or not they would help me.
"Why! Please someone help! Why me?!"
