I sat there for a few moments, as I could hear all of the creaking that was going on around me. My body, and my brain just stopped, though it should not have gone like that, it did in fact. I knew what was happening, I knew that the place was about to collapse, but I was just stuck for some odd reason.
The creaking began to get louder and louder at the same time as well, as I stared at the walls for just a few moments, hearing a bunch of mice running all over the place, it was clear to me that they were freaking out at the moment.
It was not me they were freaked out about however. I knew that, but still I could not think of what it was that was going on at the moment. I did manage to pick up the mice that I had caught and had killed. Something around me shivered, as I was quite afraid of what it was that was about to happen.
I knew something was coming, and it was about to come very soon, but for some reason I was just standing in the same spot, with my eyes wide. I tried to get up, and I tried to run, but my body just refused to do that for me for some odd reason.
I stared around the room that I was in for just a few moments longer, as all of the creaking then stopped, and the mice that were in the walls stopped freaking out. I calmed myself down for just a few moments, as I was beginning to realize that things were going to be okay.
But I knew at the same time, that something was not right about all of this. It was strange, but all of the sudden it seemed as though a 6th sense had taken over me, a lot later than I would have liked as well, as I suddenly turned around and then just began running out of the room.
Once I was into the corridor, and was about to head out of the place, that was when it all hit me at the same time as well. I heard a loud noise, but this time it was not creaking. This time it sounded a lot more like something was getting smashed in the other room.
I did not dare turn around to find out what it was, as I kept on sprinting out of the twoleg place as fast as I had ever run before in my life. I saw cracks from the top of the ceiling dropping on me at the same time as well, as it then hit me, as I realized in fact what was going on in the first place.
I was nearly at the door to the place at this point, as I suddenly saw something drop in front of me. That is when I made a mistake, which was a very bad one as well, as I stopped a little bit, to see what was going on around me.
That is when it hit me, the ceiling was collapsing, and it was getting closer and closer to me in the same instance as well. I spun back around as quickly as I possibly could, and then did my best to run as fast as possible... But it was too late.
As I was so close to the exit of the place, the ceiling then collapsed on me, and I was knocked out. The last thing I remembered was me seeing something ahead of me, and it looked like a cat, maybe a starclan cat as well, as it was vivid and I did not have enough time to see it.
It was silence, that was all that was going on around me at the exact moment. It kind of scared me... Was I dead? Where was I? This was not a dream, surely right? I shook my head, but it did not seem like I even had a head there in fact.
I was not sure what was going on with me, this sure was a strange dream. I was not sure if I even was in a dream, but I knew that it was not like this when I was asleep for sure. I did my best to at least try and do something, that would at least tell me that I was somewhere.
I tried to walk around, to look around, but all that was around me was just darkness, and it seemed as though I did not have any legs either. I stayed still for a few moments, getting a bit upset as well, I was just about to give up at this point.
As soon as I did that as well, that's when I saw a glimmer of light in the exact same instance. It began to grow brighter and brighter too, as it was soon to the point where I could not have my eyes on it, as it would in fact burn them quite a bit too.
I did my best to close my eyes, but it seemed as though my eyelids were not with me, and it then in fact did begin to burn my eyes. I stared at the light, just still for a few more moments, as, just when I was about to give up, the light then diminished.
I sat there, and then I saw what was in front of me, and why the light was so bright as well. I saw tons of cats in front of me, and I looked at all of them a bit surprised to see their faces at the same time as well. I recognized quite a few of them too.
I saw 1 of them step forward in front of me, as it was the leader of all of this, she was the one that had laid out this entire path for me, and I truly had to her thank her for it as well. It did not seem though that I could speak however as I just sat there and stayed silent.
She stayed silent for just a few moments at the same time as well, as she suddenly then breathed in heavily quite a bit. I was a bit confused as well as to what it was that was going on, though I could not show it on my face, if I even had a face in the first place.
I stared through the corner of my eye, because my eye did not seem to be working the way it wanted to, as my eyes were locked on to Squirrelflight. But I could see many cats I knew behind her, such as Firestar, Jayfeather, Onestar, Mistystar, Blackstar, Mistystar, and a few others. I was still a bit confused as well, as to why they were here in the first place.
It then caught up to me, as to what it was that might be going on, as Squirrelflight then began to speak to me. Just as she did, it seemed as though my body then appeared out of nowhere, and I took a few heavy breaths, as I had not breathed in quite some time.
The breathing was kind of hard and dusty for me for some odd reason or another, but at least I was in fact breathing I suppose. After a few seconds I looked over at Squirrelflight, and then I nodded to her to let her know that I was listening to her speak to me.
"Moonstar... That is your name... Soon you will have to give every cat their own name as well... It is a part of being a cat of the clans..." She said to me. I looked at her for just a few moments, and then I nodded to her at the same time as well, once again.
I stared there for a few moments, as it seemed as though my brain was not working on me. I seemed to completely ignore what she had just said to me as well. Though I doubt that she had known that... I stared at her for just a few more moments.
I was still lost on the thought that had been stuck in my mind at the same time as well. I did not know what to do, as I could tell that Squirrelflight was waiting for me to speak back to her as well. I looked at her, and then I thought about it, as I decided to speak to her as to what was going on in my head.
"Am I dead? Are you here to give me my 9 lives? Is that why you are calling me Moonstar?" I asked her, as I realized that it had been a lot of questions for even a cat like her to take in at the same time as well. She stared at me for a few moments, and then she smiled at me.
The smile seemed to relax me though, as I still looked at her a bit scared however. She sat there, and then she shook her head at me, though I was not sure which part of what I had just said to her that she was shaking her head about either.
It seemed as though I was dead, as my body I was beginning to realize felt quite weak, and quite crushed at the same time as well. I shook my head trying to shake it off, though it was a bit painful too. I looked at her as she began to speak to me through the pain.
"No... You are alive... Though you are badly hurt... If someone does not find you soon, then you will be dead... But do not worry about that, help is on the way already." She said to me. I looked at her a bit confused as to what it was that she was talking about.
It then hit me as to what it was that had just happened to me. The ceiling had fallen on me before I was able to get out of the building that I had just been stuck in. How was I in fact not dead? How was someone going to find me through all of that rubble anyways.
I closed my eyes, as thankfully I could this time. As it seemed to relax me as well, as I had been quite a bit stressed at the exact moment. I knew that there were cats that still badly needed my help as well, and now I was stuck, and I was badly hurt.
I opened my eyes back to them, as thankfully they were still there in front of me, as none of the cats that were behind me said a word to me. Squirrelflight stayed silent as well, as it was clear to me that she was in fact waiting for me to speak back to her, which in turn I did so.
"There's cats that need my help... And how will I know the time to get the cats to start changing their names?" I said back to her. She looked at me for a few moments, and then she squinted her eyes at me at the same time as well. She also then went ahead and lowered her head to the ground, as it was clear to me that she was thinking of something to say back to me.
I sat there for a few moments, as I waited for her to go ahead and speak back to me. I looked around at a couple of cats that were behind me as well, as I nodded to the ones that I knew the most. To each in their own term, they nodded back to me as well.
After all of that interaction I then looked back at Squirreflight, as I realized that she was beginning to speak back to me, as she had finally decided what to say back to me, after the long period of silence that had just been upon me.
"Yes... They will be okay... Do not worry about all of that, you will know when the time has come..." She said to me. I looked at her still a bit confused for a few moments as to what it was that I was supposed to do, but I nodded to her anyways.
I then closed my eyes for a few moments, as I thought about what it was that she had just said to me as well. I knew that eventually the cats would have to get their warrior names, and I also knew that we would get our 9 lives soon.
I hoped that it would be sooner rather than later too, but I knew that the clans were still a bit empty around camp, and I knew that we probably could not do that til we had at least a decent amount of cats in our clan. I shook my head, and then I opened my eyes, as I began to speak back to them.
"I will do-" I had begun to say. That was... Until I realized that all of the cats were gone, and they were no where to be seen. I felt a bit lonely as well, as I had been feeling that way at the same time too, ever since I had become leader and had been separated from my partner.
It was a bit lonely, and a bit cold in the world at the moment, but I suppose that was a leaders job, and it was not supposed to be all easy for me, and I was not supposed to have things just fall into place perfectly for me. It hurt me a lot though, I was not going to lie about that one.
I closed my eyes at the same time as well, as I did my best to shake off all of the pain the was coursing through my veins at the moment. The pain was both physical and emotional pain, both of which I very much despised... I stared for a bit longer and then I woke up.
I opened my eyes, but it was very dark, and I was not sure that I was in fact awake or not. I tried to move my body, and do something, but I could not do so, and the pain that I had felt in my dream felt a hundred times worse when I had tried to move.
I just stayed still, as I knew that was the best way to not ignitiate further pain into me. I just had to stay still, and I was not sure what it was that I should do to try and get out of this. I could clearly tell as well, that I had a fair amount of broken, or at least dislocated bones in my body.
I had not felt pain like this since I was very little, and I had been very very sick with my mother. I was not even sure if that pain was even anything compared to the pain that I was in at the exact moment. I felt like I wanted to die...
I closed my eyes, and just as I did, I felt a bit of scratching from not too far away from me. At first I thought it was one of the mice that might have survived, but as it got a bit louder, I then realized that it was in fact something all out completely different than I had first thought.
That's when I heard speaking, and it was quiet speaking, so I could not hear a word of what it was that they were saying to one another. It was cats that were talking though, and it gave me an idea, that might not be smart in the long run, but I did not care as to the fact that I was in so much pain.
I then began to yell for help as loud as I possibly could... Hoping that one of the cats that I had heard speaking might have heard me, and might realize that I was stuck inside all of the rubble, then maybe he might be able to help me as well.
I was not sure if he could, it sure did feel like all of this was quite a lot of weight on me. But I figured that I should at least try before they might walk away from me... Heck... They might not even help me if I even yelled to them anyways. But I was not worried about that as I yelled.
"Who's there? Please help me! Im stuck!" I yelled as loud as I could though ky lungs were not working very well on me, as it was very hard for me to breath through all of this at the same time too. I heard silence for just a few moments, as I thought that maybe I had been too late and they were already gone.
Just when I thought that however, I then heard another familiar voice yell back to me at the same time as well. I realized that the voice, was in fact the voice of my friend Owl, as it seemed as though he had somehow come to save me from this.
"Moon? Are you there? Are you alright?"
