I look around at the plaza. There are people busily walking around and it appears to be midmorning. I remember seeing hit points somewhere.

Ok, I'll find some food or something and replenish my health. I look around and there is a building across the plaza with a large sign. Looks like a shop to me. I start walking.
"Would you like a candy bar?"
"Of course I would!" I turn around and there is a lady holding a candy bar in her hand.

"Why are you giving me this?" I ask her.
"I don't know, I just wanted to." She says matter-of-factly.
"Ok. Then I'm going to go now." I say.
"Very well." She responds cheerfully.
What a strange encounter. Will this candy bar replenish my health? I take a bite.

"Hello, do you have any candy bars?" I ask to the man behind the counter. "Yes sir, I do." He says. "Can I have two?" I respond. "They are five copper pieces each." He says as if he is annoyed. "How's this?" I say putting a smallish coin on the counter. "That'll work!" He perks up. "Here you go, and here is your change."

I leave and walk around the corner. I then proceeded to eat both candy bars back to back.

No sooner than finishing the candy bars and I heard a commotion coming from the plaza I just left. I look back around the corner. There are five guys in robes standing in a circle. They are chanting something but I can't hear what they are saying from this distance. Suddenly a large plume of smoke engulfs the group. When the smoke clears, a bearded devil looking creature is seen in the middle of the circle. Demon Summoners. Damnit. Looking through my backpack I find my leather armor. Perfect.

I put the armor on and pull my sword back out of it's sheath. I hold my dagger in my other hand. I then charge around the corner towards the group.
"Ahhhhh" I yell startling all but the demon.
I swing my sword at one of the acolytes and stab my dagger at another. The first one falls to the ground and the other stumbles backwards. The demon throws a punch. knocking me back slightly.

Yes! I can damage it! As I'm swinging my sword my arm brushes against his beard and starts tingling. Poison. Doesn't look like it did any damage so I should be fine. However, now I'm surrounded by the acolytes. They all start hitting me with clubs. They must have been hiding them in their robes.

It didn't hurt too bad but it was still annoying. I swung my sword attempting to slice all of them.

Two more down. Now my back is turned towards the devil. ****. He hits me again in the back.

****. That Hurts. I step back away from the group. I then throw my sword at the devil.

We sit at a standstill as I make a backwards retreating motion. I couldn't win here. Wait, don't I have rations in my pack? Can I eat them quickly for health?

Sweet. The demon attempts to attack but I jump to the side. I make a dash for my sword. The last acolyte swings his club but I stab him before he could land his hit.
