Chapter 4.

I looked over to my sister and she smiled giving me a thumbs up . I was a little bit nervous and my heart was racing. It felt like I was on top of the world. Then he said, "Let's put work aside for tonight", he said which was accompanied by a very charming smile and I couldn't help but return the smile. We walked up to the car and off to the dinner.

We arrived at our destination and settled down. Half way through the dinner he finally spoke up, "Lucy?".

"Yes."

"I just wanted to tell you that.....", he paused.

"What happened?" I asked.

He continued to speak, " I'm in love with you."

I wasn't sure of how I felt about him yet, I wanted to say the same to him but I at the same time didn't know if I meant it for real. I was so happy to hear it but I didn't know how I should react. There was an awkward silence for about two minutes, then he said " You don't have to say anything now, so you can take your time to think about it" , he said with a smile, I just nodded .
