Chapter 7.

*Next day*

"Lucy?" Michael called from his seat. I walked over to his seat . He stood up and told said, "Lucy, please answer me this time around, do you love me?" I looked straight into his eyes and all I could see was honesty in it , he meant what he said and I knew what to say ."Yes I do, Michael" , he was a good man after all, but I didn't know that i would fall for him. I wanted to go but he held my hand and pulled me back embracing me in a warm bear hug. That was when he finally said something, "I chose you, and it will always be you" I didn't understand at first but I brushed it off my mind.

"Sir, can...can I get back to work now?"

"Call me Michael". He said with a smile.

I walked over to my desk , I turned and saw him still looking at me, I couldn't help it but blush and I sat down.

*After work*

"I'll drop you off at your house", he offered

"Okay". We are still shy , I thought to myself .

"We are here", he said

"Umm, This isn't where I live."

"I know, we are here because I want us to go shopping together" , he walked over and pulled me into the boutique .

"You can pick what ever you want or else I'll get everything I want, for you"

"You don't have to do this"

"I want to do this, so just do it for me"

We spent about an hour inside the boutique and I was exhausted by the time we were done.

He dropped me off at home and i asked him to stay a little longer before leaving which he accepted. Julia was surprised and shocked when we arrived , I knew she had questions , her eyes met mine and I smiled , that was when she realized what happened
