Trigger

The lead bandit disintegrated into blue light.

A bandit roared and charged at aurora but I shot him before he could reach.

I levelled up.

"Max, tell me the barrier is ready!" I yelled.

"Yeah, yeah" he responded.

The bandits who were charging slammed into an invisible force.

Max was obviously being strained.

"I can't hold it for long" he said.

I checked out my new ability. "You won't have to" I said.

As the bandits were getting up I used my new gun ability.

7 bandits disintegrated.

"What was that?!" Max yelled.

It was my new ability rapidfire.

The rest of the bandits looked cautiously since seven of their friends had literally dropped dead.

I reloaded my gun and started shooting bandits.

I was using normal bullets this round but that was mostly because my mana bar needed to regen and I needed mana shots to use my next round of rapidfire.

My rapidfire was ready by now and only a few bandits were left.

I took a mana potion and drank it. I then calmly took aim. It was a condition that had to be met before I could use it.

I was about to shoot but then I felt something slam into the side of my head.

I slammed into a tree and slid down.

"I should really dial down the pain effect" I thought.

I looked around. Max was laying unconscious and before me stood a giant man with two gauntlets on.

A tank.

"Well guess I'm gonna die" I thought as he charged towards me.

And then Aurora slammed him with his hammer and he went flying.

"Wow that is a big hammer" I said.

"I think your head is a bit fuzzy" she responded.

"Hey watch out, big man is getting up" I said.

She charged at the tank and slammed him in the head 4 more times with her hammer before he disintegrated.

"Violence is always the answer kids" I said in a daze before I passed out.
