I dodged the the franketer's attack which was pathetic and kicked him on the back. He went stumbling in front and crashed into a wall.

"Why would you lie?" I asked.

"It's not my fault you believed me!" he shouted

"No wonder you tried to poison me. Your pathetic." I said to him.

His face contorted with rage and he charged at me again. However I simply took out my revolver and shot him in the foot. He fell to the ground and starting crying in pain.

"I actually feel bad for him" I thought.

"Don't" vetala said.

I looked at him. "You can read my thoughts?" I said in concern.

"What do you mean" the franketer asked in pain.

"Not you, shut up." I said.

I looked at vetala.

"No I can't of course. I saw your expression. It was blatantly obvious" he responded.

"Oh" I said.

I looked at the franketer bawling on the ground.

"He's an npc. Not even real." I thought.

Yet the thought of killing of him made me uneasy.

"You can't survive with that kind of mentality." vetala said.

"Are you sure you can't read my mind?" I asked him.

"I don't read minds I read people. I'm good at that." he responded.

I sighed and counted to five.

Then I shot the franketer in the head.

His body lay still not writhing in pain anymore. But his eyes...

He had a wide eyed expression looking straight at me with horror, almost as if he had... emotions like a real being. His body then crumbled to dust.

"This game is too good at details" I thought.

I gained some exp since I technically saved my friends and sat down and decided to log out.

"See you later" I said to vetala as I disintegrated. The last thing I saw was him looking at me with his eyebrows raised.

I woke up at 12 in the middle of the night. There was dinner on my desk. No one had bothered me.

I ate my dinner and went to my bed. I wasn't feeling sleepy though.

"Who needs sleep?" I thought and took my phone.

"Sleep is actually very essential for the human body, did you know?"

I got up and looked in front of me.

Because in front of me stood vetala.
