Chapter 18: I will never loose you again

Xu beichen expression darkened at the thought of it.

Feng Nai died a long time ago even before he had a chance to confess to her. He clearly remembered that day, that was his darkest moment, his queen was killed and thrown into the ocean. He was helpless, he had wanted to save her but what can a young boy do to fight against those evil dark serpent.

He sighed as he left the room to his study.

Xi bie came out of the bathroom when she saw that the room was clear. She changed into the dress she met on the bed and walked out to the dinning.

When she got to the dinning room, cold wind passed through her lightly and she shivered slightly.

Why is the dinning this cold at summer.

She felt that cold breeze again and looked at the source of the breeze. She saw Xu beichen sitting calmly like an Emperor in distress, his face was as cold as ice, the aura he was emitting alone is enough to freeze the entire Z city.

She walked quietly and sat at the large table . To say she was scared was an understatement. After the news she sent her private investigator to find out about him. She ate her food silently and didn't try to make any unnecessary noise even the maids were not anywhere in sight.

Xu beichen stood up and walked up to her,he bent down to take the chop stick on the floor and used an handkerchief to clean her lips.

" Are you scared of me?" He asked with tease.

Xu beichen pulled her close and placed his cold lips on hers.

The kiss was aggressive and Xu beichen poured all his emotions to it. He missed her greatly after eighteen years of searching for her. He thought she was dead, then the heavens brought her back to him four years ago, this is actually the best day of his life.

" Young.." Lu yen ran into the room and stopped suddenly, he was unable to continue with his words when he felt his young master's icy gaze on him.

Xu beichen ignored him and face Xi bie

" Am sorry if I scare you that much " he said and helped her to clear the tear stain on her face.

My queen must not shed tears, she can't.

Xi bie was still shocked and was unable to form her words.

Xu beichen saw her dumb expression and smiled lightly

Xu beichen heard this and his expression softened. So it was her elder brother not a love rival.

Lu yen answered quickly" miss Xi am sorry but when we found you, you were alone "

" Alone?"what could have happened to brother yen..I pray he is safe. I didn't even get to ask about master.

She shook the thought off and smiled warmly at Xu beichen" thank you".

Xu beichen was daze from the smile and scratched his hair awkwardly.

Lu yen:"..." Did I just see young master blush... Haven't I gotten so many honours today.. I was alive to see young master blush for a woman.

Xi bie turned around and was heading to the door when she felt a large hand around her thin waist. She froze unsure of what to do.

Did she wake up on the wrong side of the bed today..aiya or is this death calling me.

To say she didn't enjoy this comfort will be a lie. When the pair of large hands left her she felt rather insecure.

Xu beichen released her and walked straight to his study. He avoided talking to her because he could not explain the reason for his sudden hug. He didn't want to scare her away.
