Chapter 20: Opening ceremony

The opening ceremony for the promise was larger than it was expected because of the renowned musician Phoebe.

The crew members and the cast were all assembled and there were numerous medias and reporters, light flashed one after the other if not at the same time as the artist entered one after the other with their managers and assistant. The huge group of fans in the outer ring who had come after hearing the news of Phoebe's performance today.

Most of the media where waiting for the female lead Xi gong  and the male lead jang dong gu.

Xi gong entered wearing a blue cocktail dress made out of sogging wool. The cutting of the wool exposed her cleavage and her wide collarbone. The walked elegantly as she smiled at the reporter not only that amazed them but the refreshed young man beside her with a cheerful and amazing aura.

" Isn't that young master Fu ?" A reporter asked and they all turned to him

" Wow it's true I heard the Fu and the Xi family are going to Marge business together through marriage"

" Wow really? Miss Xi is so lucky"

" Yes she is a winner in life not only was she a successful actress but she also has an outstanding fiance"

  " Am pretty jealous"

" Don't be even if you reincarnate you might not be as beautiful as she is, she is just like a pure flower"

The other reporter frowned as she heard this .

  " Hmph.."

The reporter had to quickly spin up question.

   " Miss Xi is it true that you and young master Fu are getting married?"

" Miss Xi it was said that you stole the told from a rookie"

" Miss Xi may I ask if your gown was the auctioned gown for last year's Z city fashion award"

Xi gong ignored them and smiled lightly as she walked to the center of the red carpet and posed a few times to let the media take pictures. Then she turned around ,picked up a pen and signed her name on the wall before moving to her sit.

Somewhere at imperial hotel at Z city. Xi bie sat as her makeup artist did her makeup.

    " Phoebe am sorry about this" George said as he carried xio nishan to the chair.

    " It's nothing, it's not your fault for accepting it, you also did this for my son thank you George" she smiled softly.

Without such a capable and understanding person like George, she probably wouldn't have reached this stage.

Based on his capability as a manager he should have gotten further with his own ambition, but he stood close to her throughout all her struggles.

   " Phoebe you can say sorry or thank you to me anymore"

" Why? "

" Because I don't deserve it" he smiled as he remembered that day. If not for her coming out to save him from those bandits he wouldn't have been alive till this time, so he owe her a life time.

Xi bie chuckled as she remembered that day. He mainly thought she was a guy and called him brother for a month until the day he caught her singing.

The main purpose for today's event was to study the opening ceremony of a big production. So many celebrities had been invited apart from the artist meant for the movie. As usual pheobe will be the last go on the stage to sing.

As she put on her dark moon shaped mask her red lip stick shone brightly . Her name pheobe was given by her mum which means bright, shinning and is from a Greek origin. It is an epithet of Apollo meaning bright and pure. In Greek mythology Phoebe was a tian associated with the moon.

George stared at her in awe. She was really one of a kind, she was rear.

After they got there xio nishan complained that he wants to use the restroom and ran out of the car.

He entered the hall way and was about to cross the arranged box when they fell on him.

  Xu beichen stood up from his sit and was about to go to the rest room when his assistant stood after him.

  He raised his brows and faced his assistant " now you are to escort me to the rest room" he said sarcastically

   Lu yen face turned red as he sat down back.

Xu beichen walked down the empty hall way as he heard a rustling sound. He turned a took a stick with him before turning to the direction of the noise.

He was about to hit the stick when he heard a whimpering sound.

He removed the box and saw a little bun struggling to come out between the box.

This child, wasn't he the one I saw at the airport, why is he here. He quickly raised all the box and carried him up.

He dusted his clothes and cleaned his sweat. He noticed the child's stare and he stopped and faced him.

  " Are you hurt? " He asked

       " No"

  " Where is your mum?" He asked

    " She is busy" nishan asked as he rubbed his little arms

What type of mother would leave her child all alone here.

  " Uncle you are so strong" nishan said as he rubbed Xu beichen's arm.

Xu beichen smiled " really? " He asked with tease

  " Yes my mum always told me my dad is very strong and almost tore her apart her first time" xio nishan said confidently like he won an award.

Xu beichen was astonished. What type of mother would tell this to a small boy. This child's mother was rather interesting.

     " So where is your dad now?"

          " I don't know but my mum said maybe he did not like me so I am trying to find a new daddy...uncle you are strong can you be my daddy" xio nishan asked as he stared innocently at him.

    Xu beichen laughed as he patted his head

      "Hmm...so where are you going to?"xu beichen smiled as he asked.

     " I want to pee" xio nishan smiled sheepishly

      " Okay" Xu beichen carried him to the rest room and took him back to the empty hall.

Meanwhile George had been looking for him.

     " Nishan!"

   " Uncle" he called as he wiggled out of Xu beichen's arm

   George smiled and said thank you to Xu beichen and the latter just nod and walked away.

Xu beichen felt empty like a part of him have been taken away. He felt empty all of a sudden but just waved it off.

   " Where have you been " George asked and xio nishan scrunched his nose.

Wasn't he just acting cute, why did he suddenly turn to a scary little devil.

   " Don't ask me " he said coldly as he walked with his little feet touching lightly on the floor.

George recall the earlier man and scrunched his brows. Why do I feel those two look really similar.

   " Aren't you going to show me the way and stop standing there like a fool" xio nishan said jolting him out of his thought.

It was time for Xi bie's performance.

She wore a dark blue backless fishtail gown with only one hand covering her left arm . The dress highlighted her perfect curves  and show her nice collarbone. She wore a pair of hand gloves with reach a little beneath her elbow. The temporary moon shaped tattoo on her hand shone brightly as it appreciated her fair skin.

She walked along the red carpet and then stopped at the center of the center of the stage. The dark shinny light from the stage shone brightly on her body and it glowed brightly as she smiled to her fans.

Cheers and screams can be heard from different directions the fans where her fan stood.

Even some celebrities couldn't help but marvel at her beauty.

     " Pheobe Pheobe! We love you"

    " Awwnn my goddess is always beautiful"

Several beautiful comments came from different fans as she stood smiling.

She received the microphone and thanked her fans.

Her voice sounded differently than she normally spoke but a certain person had doubt in his mind as he stared at the girl on the stage.

She knew nobody could recognise her except from her closest members. She has always learnt voice overs during her time in America. She was also invited by an anime company for voice over as she worn the best voice over championship.

She  singlehandedly voiced over twenty eight different voices and broke the record for the year.

After her speech, the entire hall became quiet and the music started playing.

Xu beichen did not want to come for the ceremony at all but was forced by his three friends and his younger sister. He merely sat at the end corner of the VIP section to avoid unnecessary attention.

  One of Xu beichen's friend Qu nanmu, the son of hung jewelry owner smiled at the woman on the stage and said " beichen just look at that body of hers. Even a devotie will be tempted to have a second look"

   " Not interested" Xu beichen said bored as he sat back leisurely.

Du liwu furrowed his eyebrows as he stared at his best friend " you really know how to obtain good stuffs , now you are interested in phoebe, I really underestimated your taste"

  " What? You expect me to be a saint please save that for beichen, who knows if he is able to touch a woman" Qu nanmu said as he laughed.

   " Who knows if he is impotent and is just trying to hide it" he added.

  Xu beichen:"...." He should really dispose his best friend.

  " It is you that is impotent" he said coldly as he glared at them.
