5.1: Inquiry and Capture
Ria had to come early for interrogation and She looked angry- from her perspective she had to leave the shop for a good for nothing police case. Even the Gods would have been afraid with that ferocious look on her face if they saw. Human mentality is incredible- she would have been crying if it was her sister!
She descrcbed she did not know anything about it. She was rather disgusted with the situation and called police the moment she saw the body. However, the first question Simon asked her was- "Why did you leave the crime seen without meeting us?" Then she says angrily that, "I did not get all day for you guys to stand in the middle of a road with all those nonsence jobless people and the sweepers are suppose to see the body first and there is no way I am the first one. My shop is near and there were a lot of potential customers who came to see the sexy dead body! Even I have some important work today, can I leave now?" Simon started to think- he let her leave. He found out the file of municipality to check who was there that day and finds the name Luna who was on duty for the month. He orders Dan to call her for an interrogation. However, Dan could not find Luna next day so he goes to her house instead.
Northern Titto is known as workers colony. The houses are piled up on one another like garbage in bin. The road is muddy from the illegal water supply pipes. There is a smell like petroleum and tar everywhere. Its hardly bearable to normal nose. Dan could feel it for first few minutes, then it felt like it did not exist at all. With time people tend to get habituated with the things they do not like.
When Dan found her home. It was actually some rusty tins over muddy walls. Luna was packing. Watching a police coming in, she put her left hand under the scarf on her chest and tried to flee. Dan followed her through the narrow rods of the slum- with every footsteps the dust followed behind like a horizontal tornado till they reached a sleepy tunnel like space- there were water leakage and cloths hanging over head creating bridges from both side of the road.
He was not very strong but stronger than Luna. He grabbed her scarf from back and pulled. She slipped over the muddy road and Dan fell over her. It was so rough that after falling both of them could not get up as he had his left hand pressed under Luna while catching her hand so he could see what she was hiding there. But Luna moved her hand forward above her head to avoid it and a shiny object fell from her hand and rolled down leaving Dans hand stuck under her with nothing. She tried to get up, but with the stuck hand Dan grabbed her for the second time from underneath and he pussed her down with his lower body; it acted like a pivot so that with another hand he could catch her wrist to take it closer and put the handcuff on. Dan took her to TPD along with the shiny metal object.
