The Journey Of Samkelisiwe Nzama

Moving back to the varsity life. The moment I visited the hospital and the doctors couldn't dertmine what was wrong with me. They literally cheaked everything and nothing was found. But I was sick. What was it?

It was soo hectic at the hospital that the nurse even thought maybe I was pregnant. There was no way I could be pregnant. I was still a virgin. I mean I haven't been sexually active either.

The rude nurse screamed my name saying "Samkelisiwe woza lana". I followed her slowly asking myself what was going on. She gave me a little container and told me to pee in it. I did as she said, and asked myself what was that for?She put a small paper inside my urine. And took it out again. And she was like you not pregnant.

I was like to her "I know that". There is no way I would be pregnant. She asked why I was so confident. I told her that I want to have Umemulo, a Zulu traditional ceremony done for virgin girls.

Than the nurse didn't know what to do with me. I had to wait for the professor than. She came in 4 hours later, I waited and waited and waited for her. She cheaked me and also found nothing.

She asked me to open my mouth and I did. She told me my throat was red and its not supposed to be that way. She told me a had an infection... This event kept on coming back and forth into my mind. I couldn't get rid of it. It dominated my mind. The Hospital saga kept on coming and coming and coming.
