Chapter 1- Good Morning Miss Nix
Three years later...
Nix walked into the tall building. "Good morning Miss Nix", the young secretary said as soon as she heard her footsteps.
"Good morning Elle", Nix said smiling brightly. Her hazel eyes sparkled under the building lights, her curly black hair was tied into a bun. She wore a wine sleeveless jumpsuit with gold heels and gold bangles dangled on her slender arm. Her black skin was smooth and moist making her more appealing to the eyes. She smiled youthfully as her employees greeted her as she passed by. She walked into her private elevator as her assistant followed her.
Her assistant Zelenia Zhao admired her beauty and her choice of clothes. Although Zelenia was from a rich family, nix never ceased to amaze her. That was the reason the young heiress decided to work for her.
"What do I have today? ZeZe", Nix said snapping her out of her thoughts. Even though she had worked with Nix for a while, she never got used to Nix's charming presence and Nix teased her a lot for it.
"You have a board meeting with the directors, Official signing of the link project, Orphanage visit and Kevin said you have an event to attend to", Zelenia said as her green eyes scanned Nix's schedule on her tab. Nix sighed inwardly and walk out of the elevator.
"Kevin? What event is that? I don't any time for unnecessary occasions" Nix said turning to meet the eyes of her assistant. Twenty-year-old Kevin was in charge of the company's public appearances. Even if he was reliable, he was also difficult to handle.
"Yoon Jin-Seo's twentieth birthday party, a must-attend for all elicits", Zelenia said calmly. She knew that Nix didn't like parties but was forced to attend because of her status. She pitied her young boss who had been introduced to the business at the young age of 12 while her mates were having tea parties.
Nix owned a company in city X, the company was well known for its entertainment branch. They had a large number of A-list actors, models, and artists but the company was also involved in manufacturing, marketing, and networking making it the second-best industry in the city with the Hong industries leading ahead. For that reason the two companies automatically became rivals. Only a few knew Nix owned the industry, others thought she was the vice president because it was rare for a woman to own industry. Although you could see a few women run industries, no woman had ever owned one. Since 'the boss' was never seen, Nix was given the respect of the boss. She went to meetings, events, and so on in place of 'the boss' while 'the boss remained a mysterious being.
Nix was an actress herself but only acted when she felt like so the number of movies she had acted was few and could be counted. Yet she was considered an a-list star because she was close to 'the boss'. "Cancel the board meeting, tell Ivan to handle the signing of the project. I already visited the orphanage on my way to work so tick that out and tell Kevin I'll be at the party", Nix said walking into the office.
