Chapter 58

I rang the doorbell of Dekus apartment and he opened up immediately. I almost burst out laughing. "What the fuck are you wearing?" It was a shirt saying 'Flannel shirt' and a pair of light blue Jeans, both way too small for him. Deku rolled his eyes. "Why do you think did I ask you to get my things?"

Indeed I had received a message from him around midnight, saying 'Get my clothes from the dresser in my room for me. The spare key is in the flowerpot next to the back door'. I had wondered where the hell he had gotten a phone from, but he had probably found his old one or something.

Now I was here with Dekus clothes in some backpack I found in his room. He pulled me inside and closed the door, snickering lightly. "This is not even the worst, though. Apparently, all underwear I owned was All Might themed. It sucks big time." I snorted. "Wow, okay. What the fuck."

I followed Deku in the apartment, trying to remember the last time I had been here. I couldn't recall it. Suddenly, I spotted his mother. "Good afternoon, Midoriya-san." Remember how I said I respected people who deserved it? Dekus mother was one of those people. She couldn't have an easy life with Deku as a son and a runaway husband.

When Midoriya-san turned to me, her face changed from surprised over angry to deeply sad. "Katsuki… it's been quite a while…" She seemed to have more to say, but Deku cut into the nonexistent conversation. "Mom. We're going to my room. Don't come in." The harsh way he addressed his mother surprised me.

If Deku even liked anyone anymore, wouldn't it be his mother? Not to mention that they had always totally been joined at the hip. Guess even here, things had changed.

Deku grabbed my shoulder, turned me around and pushed me into his room. Once he had closed the door, he grabbed the backpack from my hands and shamelessly changed into a black sweatshirt, black jeans and other underpants right in front of me. If we had been in an Anime, I would've painted the whole floor with a nosebleed. Pin-uppy asshole.

When he was done, he tossed the backpack over to his closet and dropped back onto his bed. "Great. No more useless All Might fanboy stuff." Just then, I noticed Deku had taken down all the All Might stuff he used to have. His room looked empty without it. "Oi, where did all of the All Might merchandise even go?" Deku pointed to a box in the corner of the room. "I'm gonna sell it. Seems I have some pretty rare stuff, should get me a bit of money. Especially now that that lustrous hypocrite kicked the bucket."

I was shocked, to say the least. Of course I didn't expect Deku to still adore Heroes after all, but that fiendish attitude was really bottoms-up. I couldn't blame him, though. Deku suddenly sat up with a hard expression. "What did you do with Shishi?" "I-" He suddenly jumped up and put a hand onto my mouth. "Lower your voice." Then he went over to the door and kicked against it. "Walls have ears." A suppressed squeal was audible on the other side. Midoriya-san had been eavesdropping.

Deku came back to me and shoved his face into mine. "So?" "I put it in between the two mattresses of your bed when I got your stuff. And I took the key with me when I locked the back door again." He nodded at my explanation with a more or less satisfied expression. Then he backed off a bit. "So, what will you say when they ask your testimony as the victim in court?" I lowered my eyes. "I haven't found anything believable yet. We got a pretty closed up law."

Deku sighed. "Just great. The only strategy I really have is to refuse to testify. Although that doesn't do much, as I'm the one accused." "Does your mother know?" "Almost everything. But she will lie for me." He chuckled. "I'm sure she'd even die or kill for me if necessary." I didn't miss the way his face slightly softened at mentioning his mother.

I smiled lightly. "There's someone you still love, huh?" Deku raised his eyebrows. "Kacchan, you know I'm living an act, right?" He covered his right eye with his hand for a moment and it started crying. I nodded. "Yeah, but your mother still seems to matter to you." Dekus eye stopped crying. "Whatever makes you sleep at night."

My hand made its way into Dekus hair by itself. "You sure don't." I gave him a wide smile. Deku rolled his eyes and smiled too. "You pervert." I pulled him into my arms. "Me pervert." Then I buried my face in his fuzzy mop of hair. "I promise you'll get out of this unscathed."

He deigned to hug back. "Better keep your word, it's your life on the line." "Trust me on this one. I need to get rid of my ragged pride anyways. Better spend it on your freedom." Dekus eyes shot up to me. "What makes you say that? Do you have a plan?" I totted my head. "More of a vague idea. But it better be fucking working."

Then I pulled back a bit, my arms still resting on Dekus shoulders. "It's probably gonna disgust you, though." He gave me a conceited grin. "The thing disgusting me most is you. Nothing can keep up with that." I copied his grin. "Then be fucking disgusted." Then I softly pushed my lips on his.

For a while, not one word fell out, just the soft sounds of saliva being exchanged lightly echoed through the room. I felt like I was drowning in a deep, warm lake. And for this feeling, I'd give everything up. I was completely high on Deku. No need for actual drugs.

My trip was harshly disrupted by Midoriya-san bursting into the room. "W-what are you doing in here?!" Deku pushed my head down and stood up. "I thought I told you not to enter my room." His voice was like the hiss of a venomous snake about to bite. His mother lowered her head. "I-I thought you were hurting him o-or worse…"

Deku barged forwards, grabbed his mother by her collar and put her down in front of his room. "This is the line. And if you cross it, I guarantee for nothing." Midoriya-sans eyes dampened. "I… w-why…?" Deku sighed and dropped his shoulders. "Listen. You might not believe it still, but I'm not your son anymore. I'm not the child you put in this world. And because of that, you're just another blurry face."

He cupped his mothers' cheeks tightly. "Don't start playing a role if you don't want to be part of the game. I know you don't. And believe me, the only thing you'd win is despair. I don't really want to hurt you, so don't make me." By now, big tears were rolling down Midoriya-sans cheeks. Deku wiped them away. "Stop crying. It's ugly."

He was behaving strange right now. I had never seen him act any similar with me or the other extras. I guess Deku really acted everything out. On the other hand, the way he approached life was always like a game. So maybe he was just playing by the rules in his head. One of them must've been 'Never show your true self. Show them what they want to see' or something like that.

Deku shut the door of his room with a sigh. "Never thought I'd have to parent my own mother." I put my arms around him from behind. "So that's what you didn't tell her, huh? The stuff with us." He pushed my arms away. "Why would I ever tell her about making a deal with you that pretty much says 'I'll torture you until I kill you'? My mother has her limits too."

I smirked lightly. "So that's the unveiled summary of our deal to you? A torture marriage? That's quite a gothic way of seeing 'Til death do us part'." "Then tell me how you see it." I walked around Deku and pushed his chin up. "From the very second I brought this up, I saw it as a deal with the devil. That means as much as 'Do whatever you want, but pay the consequences'. That's more accurate, isn't it?"

Deku laughed quietly. "You've gone goth too, Kacchan. But you're quite right about the 'devil' part. After all, the only way to beat a demon is to become the devil himself. And I've beaten you in every way." He hit his pointer finger into my chest with the last sentence.

I pulled Deku into my arms again. "I'm not complaining anymore. And don't say you are, because I know otherwise. Cute fucking asshole." "I'll tell you what's cute. The way you mold the nightmare I planned out for you into a dream, oblivious of the fact that you still wake up with a feeling of dread." He lightly caressed my cheek.

I just pushed my lips onto his once again, lost in Dekus evil eyes.
