3. Good things come at a cost.

"Noah," Darga began, "I'm so sorry for your past. Please. We all need to catch up." I nodded, so happy to see Darga's beautiful face and lips.

"We really do. I need some clothes, clearly fitting in with all of your school is so important, so why don't we ditch school today?" I say, really just wanting to have time with my old friends. They all nod, and we walk out of the school. Everyone climbs into a red beetle car as I stand outside of it.

"Aren't you coming?" Grandal asked.

"No, I have to take my baby." Darga clearly got upset over that. "Who is it?" I could see tears coming to her eyes.

"It's Harley. Why do you seem so upset?" I asked, confused.

"Y-you should have warned me before I kissed you. You-you slut." She began to sob as Elliot gave her a hug, shaking his head at me.

"Wait, am I missing something? I'm taking my Harley motorcycle to the store. I don't get it, why are you crying? And no, I've never hooked up with one person in my life, so why am I a slut?"

She stopped crying. She ran out of the car just to give me a huge kiss. A passionate one. It felt like the whole world fell apart and it was just me and Darga and no one else. We drew away to take a breath, but our foreheads still connected. We went in for another while her hands slid up to my chest. My hands went up her back as our tongues connected. The world automatically melted away and it was just me and Darga. Our noses pressed together and our body's moved together in sync. We both had to pull away then, because we both needed to draw breath. I left her body, but our hands still connected.

"I think Darga will ride with me," I gasped.

"Of course love birds, ride away." Elliot winked at me as me and Darga walked over to my motorcycle. She gasped at it.

"I've always wanted to ride a motorcycle!" She squealed.

"Now you can," we hopped onto my baby, "you need to sit very close and wrap your arms around my stomach, and your hips have to connect to mine." She automatically did it with no questions. Her arms hugged my chest and her hips tackled mine. I started my motor and it roared, as I quickly put on my jacket and my helmet and I roared away with Darga. We rode next to Garland and Elliot and followed them all the way to Strauch Mall. I sighed and hopped off, held out my hand to Darga and she gradually grabbed it, and we held hands and met Garland and Elliot in a store called Hipster. I sighed. The store was crowded, but I decided I was going to be fine, and walked in with them all. The first clothes that I decided to hold was a neon camo shirt that came in a set that included matching pants. Nice. I also found shoes with the same design. Then, Garland gave me a plain black hoodie.

"You will look awesome in it!" He yelled, and everyone in the store nodded. I sighed, so I had to wear it. Then came the sweatpants section, which I bought 5 different colors and brands and pairs of sweatpants.

"That's a lot of sweats." Sighed Elliot. I nodded.

"I know." I smiled at him as his face palmed. The last thing I bought was a nice button down shirt that Darga forced me to buy.

"You have to buy it!" She squealed, and jumped up and down on me.

"No." I firmly answered. She then gave me puppy dog eyes. He lip quivered.

"Pleasee?" She begged and I couldn't say no to that face. I grabbed the shirt and black ripped jeans and she clapped. Finally I made it to the counter where Garland paid for me. That's when I turned around and saw him. The son of a bitch who ruined my life. The asshole who tore apart my family. The jerk who made my mom go mental. The fucker who made me go mental. I scowled. My friends turned around to me, saw the person in front of me, and backed up, giving me space.

"You." My voice roared with anger. And fear.

"Um, I think you got the wrong person, because I have never talked to a Skull Crusher in my life. Now I'm a little scared." My gaze almost burned a hole through his head until a girl walked up to him and kissed him on the lips. My heart shattered. I get like throwing up. The girl turned around and waved to me, until she saw my jacket and her face went pale.

"Honey," the girl said, "who is this? Why does he seem furious with you?" He shrugged his shoulders.

"You have seen me before," my voice cracked as tears swelled up in my eyes. "How could you forget? I sure didn't dad." Soon as I threw the d word at him, his eyes filled with anger.

"Noah," he spat my name out hard. "Eat shit. I don't regret one day of my life. Not even the day your mother killed herself." That's it. I started to sob. Sob like a baby.

"What is going ok on Jake! Why is he calling you son! And you are being a HUGE DICK right now.

I answered her before he could, "Because he is my dad. 7 years ago," I fought down queasiness, I tried to talk but choked up in tears, so I took off my jacket and revealed a hug scar on my arm that stretched from my elbow to my shoulder. I fought down more tears. "He cut me with a piece of a vase he broke because I didn't get him a beer, and he blamed the broken vase on me," I lifted up my hair to my temple that stood a permanent bruise. "He knocked me out cause I was excited for a book fair. I couldn't go after the fact." I pointed to my heart. "He shattered this when he tried to kill me, drove my mother to suicide, made me mental and when my mom killed herself, took me in, then left me on the side of the road, claiming I 'ran away.'" I was full on crying now. The girl standing next to him slapped him as hard as she could before kicking him in the nuts, then she walked over to me. She rubbed my back. "Are you okay?" She asked, tears running down her face.

"No. I don't feel so good," I said as I bolted down to the mall bathrooms and threw up.
