If I Let Go

Just in the nick of time I arrived at school. Ashley walked in front of me.

"Hey, Ash." I gave her a half smile.

"Don't hey Ash me..." she stepped forward and my brow raised. What the hell is her problem? She continued. "I've been like calling you a thousand times, and text you a hundred times, well not technically a thousand and a hundred, although it feels like a thousand and a hundred. Anyway, I can't believe I'm blabbering about this. But don't tell me you're avoiding me?"

I gave her a stern look. "What? No...my phone is in silent mode since yesterday. Anyway I'm sorry." I explained.

She sighs. She stared at me then her eyes glances left and right as if there's anyone eavesdropping on us. "Okay, anyway please care to explain." She finally said.

My brow raised. "Care to explain what? Exactly?" I asked, perplexed.
