I lean on the chair as I gaze at the wooden table in front of us. I couldn't believe he's been going through this since he was still a kid. But he's lost, like I am. Although I understand where he's coming from. But sill I hate him, everything about him.

"He had such a rough childhood experience." I said, since it's all I could say, And Pete nods in agreement.

"Well he's just a boy, not a man. Like myself." He says, while he positioned his leg on top of his right leg. And his right hand stretches behind my shoulder. And he suddenly winks at me.

I scoff. "You? A man? Seriously Pete, you got some nerves saying that. You can't even man up to tell Ashley that you Love her."

He cringes. "When it comes to her, I'm not manly enough." He says, dolefully.

"I'm sorry, I...I didn't mean to sound harsh." I say, and reach for the cold water on top of the wooden table. And gulped twice before I place it back.
