Time ticked too fast. By the time I look in front me, a pile of black plastic garbage bags turns up out of nowhere. I stopped, but I ended up toppling over as a fierce wind pushed me, sending me off balance.

You've got to be kidding me?! Bad luck? I shriek as I plunged and crash on top of the black garbage bags.

I was expecting something soft or anything that has to do with plain cardboards or pillows inside. But to my dismay, I groan and cursed as my left hand cut right open and my right knee scrapes the concrete floor. By the time I'm lying on the garbage bags, I lift my entire body with every ounce of energy to sit at the edge of the gutter to examine myself.

And like what I predicted, my left hand is bleeding uncontrollably, I heave as I stare at my pulsating wounded hand and blood gushes out like a stream of blood.

Stupid, brainless, moronic, naïve, me. I groan in frustration.
