She coughed while in the middle of drinking her tea. She places the tea cup on the center table with trembling hands. She stared at me and a hand covered her mouth. A second later she remained calmed.

"Yes, do you remember?" She asked, leaning a bit.

"But why no one told me? Even my parents as if nothing happened at all—"

Tears began forming in the corner of my eyes. "Granny why?"

"Darling, it was for the best. And you're parents wanted to forget about it. We all did actually, that's why we never talked about it. We're sorry Livie."

I stare at my fidgeting hands. "I understand." I confidently say.

"Thank you for being understanding, Livie. It was completely a traumatic experience for as all. Even for your friend Caleb. He accused himself that it's his entire fault. I feel sorry for that kid." She says glumly.

"I know Granny. It's fine. At least I'm okay now right?" I smiled at her.
