"So, this is the place I was talking about."

"You do realize that you cannot stay out of the castle walls for a long period of time, right?"

"Moreover, no one should recognize who we are. More importantly, you."

"Yes - I mean, yeah. That is why we will have covers."

"Okay...what are we talking about, exactly?"

"You'll see."

"That is not an answer like we said earlier today." Jamie reminded.

"God, you two do not appreciate suspense and mystery! How have I survived you two?!" I exclaimed.

"No idea," Samuel started to which I shot him a glare but he looked unfazed. "Maybe, you can fill us in?"

"Okay, well-"

"Hey, Fancy, Sam, and a stranger I have never seen in my entire life!"

The boys and I turned to see Charlie running towards us, the delighted expression on her face. Sam looked a little horrified while Jamie chuckled at Charlie's way of greeting. I, for the most part, cringed when she called me "Fancy".

"You should not take my actual name, Charlie. I could get into a lot of trouble."

She smirked. "Like?"

"Like how this is not important, what is important is the reason why you're here. Where's Nicoletta?"

She shook her head. "It's Nicole, princess."

"Shush! There are strangers around!" Samuel placed a finger on his lips, stage-whispering.

"Where aren't?"

"People, briefing," Jamie uttered.

"Right, follow me."

---

"Why are we in a public library out of all the places in the world?" Samuel asked, following Charlie with Jamie and me behind him.

"Ask your sister, Sam. She's the one who wanted to meet."

Samuel and Jamie shot me a look to which I shrugged my shoulders.

"We have a lot to discuss, yet."

"Why not your place, then? That is safer, right?" Samuel asked.

Charlie stopped in front of a table and took a seat, we followed her lead. I sat beside Charlie while the boys sat across us.

"You guys will end up staying for dinner and I do not have anything to serve you guys at home." Charlie replied.

Samuel widened his eyes, in shock. "That is your reason?! Is not-serving-us-food-for-dinner more important than safety?"

Charlie deadpanned. "For me, yes."

Samuel shook his head. "You're unbelievable."

"Okay...? Should not we focus on why we are here rather than talking about food?" Jamie spoke for the first time since meeting Charlie.

"Right, let's start with who are you and why you are here when Francine was supposed to be the only one here. And second of all, aren't you a little weirded out to see the two of us together?"

Jamie spoke. "First of all, Sam, I like her. She's the complete opposite of Francine." He paused, turning his attention to Charlie. "And yes, I am a little-as you put it- 'weirded out', but I know the entire story, so not as much as you thought."

"My name is Jamie Lorenzo and I happen to be both of their best friends."

"Okay, nice to meet you, Jamie." Charlie smiled.

"Likewise," Jamie reciprocated the smile.

"People, back to topic!" Samuel yelled to which we the librarian threw us a glare. Charlie mouthed a 'sorry' to her and then turned her attention towards us.

"Why did you call me, Fancy?" Charlie asked and I visibly cringed. I hated it when she called me Fancy.

"Please, no nicknames."

"Fine, but answer the question."

"We have a lot to discuss, likes, dislikes, how is it like to be in each other's worlds, etc. before we take over each other's lives."

"Okay, so who starts first?" Jamie asked, enthusiastically, propping his elbow on the table and leaning forward.

"Whoever does it, make it quick. I have a date."

All of us stared at Samuel.

"What?! Can't I have a date?!" Samuel whined, using the informal language that the commoners use.

"I don't know, can you?"

Now, it was Samuel's turn to glare at Charlie.

"YES. YES. I can." Samuel said, gritting his teeth. "Now, would you concentrate?!"

"SHUSH!" The librarian shouted.

Samuel leaned back on his chair, crossing his arms against his chest. "I really don't care what she thinks or what you guys think as long as you fulfill the purpose you're here for."

"Easy, brother, the way you're leaning back on your chair, you might end up falling on your butt."

And that was it. As soon as the words left my mouth, Samuel lost his balance and fell on the floor with a hard thump that was loud enough to catch everyone's attention.

By everyone, I meant - including the already annoyed librarian.

"That is it! You four -OUT!" The librarian yelled, pointing towards the door. I was glad that she hadn't recognized the three of us and before she could do, we scrambled out of the library.

"This is all because of you, Sam! Now the librarian might ban me from the library." Charlie sighed, slouching her shoulders as she walked past us.

"True." Jamie and I said in unison and then quickly stared at each other in surprise.

"Now this is new." Jamie walked past us and now it was only Samuel and me.

"Not my fault that I have a date and I wanted things to be quick!" Samuel pouted, arms crossed against his chest and his head hung low.

"It kind of is." He quickly shot me a glare. "But the best thing was that the librarian didn't figure out who we were."

Samuel smiled, after a long time. "That is right, Liz. Lucky us."

"So, where should we go?"

Samuel smirked.

"Where we were supposed to."
