026 | unexpected outcome

Natasha heard a loud noise that was enough to wake her. It was the alarm on her phone that was scheduled to wake her up. She wanted to sleep for a little bit more, but she shouldn't do that, or else she would be late for school.

Since she was awakened by the alarm, she guessed that Bryan and Diana were up. She stood up from her bed, folded the blanket, and then placed it on the top of the pillows. She opened her cabinet to search for her school uniform.

She wore her school uniform once she got it. She went to comb her hair next while looking at her reflection in the mirror. Satisfied with how she looked, she grabbed her backpack and then went out of her room to descend the stairs.

"Good morning, Mum, Pops!" she greeted Bryan and Diana and then sat down on the chair.

"Good morning as well, Dear," Diana smiled.

"I made a packed lunch for you," Bryan gave the lunchbox to Natasha.

She couldn't stop her beam. "Thanks, Pops!"

"It's unfair that I didn't get to see your friend, Dear," Bryan wanted to see what kind of person was Liam. "If your friend turns out to be trash, I'm going to beat him up!"

"I've met him, Honey. So he's not trash," Diana was tired of Bryan being skeptical when she told him yesterday about Liam.

"I believe you, Honey. Trust me," Bryan assured. "But I can't trust that friend, so I want to him meet him too!"

Diana looked at Natasha. "Just eat your breakfast and go. Don't listen to Honey, Dear."

She ate two slices of toasted bread and then drank the hot chocolate. It was a simple breakfast, but enough to fill her stomach. She stood up from her seat and then went to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

She went out of her home once she was done wearing her outdoor shoes. She was in a good mood, so she hopped her walks. She saw someone familiar who was ahead of her.

She confirmed that someone was Liam, so she rushed to catch up with him. "Hey!"

Liam turned around when he heard the voice of Natasha. He thought Natasha went ahead, so he didn't expect this outcome. But he wasn't complaining.

She caught up with Liam, standing beside him. "Hello, Liam!"

Liam smiled and then thought of a question, so he would ask. "Is breakfast all good? 'Cause mine is all good."

She wondered if Liam asked that question because of the cookies yesterday, but she didn't want to stack a question when he asked her first.

"Yeah," she answered. "As you can see, I'm alive, so I didn't eat a hazardous one."

She and Liam walked together. It took them 20 minutes to arrive at their destination through walking.

Liam stopped his steps, so was Natasha. He noticed someone near the school gate.

"Isn't that Senior Lawrence?" Liam used his right index finger to point at Lawrence.

Natasha looked at where Liam was pointing. "You're right," she saw Lawrence standing near the gate of the school. "Why is he standing there? Is he waiting for someone?"

"He might be waiting for us," Liam assumed that was the case.

"Us!?" she didn't want another trouble. "If it's us, isn't he tired?"

"I hope I'm mistaken about that. I'd rather want to avoid troubles too, so I hope Senior Lawrence is waiting for someone else," Liam hoped, but if that wasn't the case, he braced himself.

"Let's go," she didn't want her and Liam to sit like ducks forever, so she moved, and he followed.

She and Liam were about to go in when—

"N-Natasha!" Lawrence stammered. He hoped that she would respond.

She turned around to look at Lawrence. "What is it, Senior Lawrence?"

Lawrence was nervous, but he gathered his courage to confess. "I've fallen in love with you again!"

"Huh!?" she didn't expect Lawrence would tell something like that after what happened.

"Please break up with your boyfriend and be my boyfriend, Natasha," Lawrence pleaded. "You can punch me, kick me—"

She got chills once Lawrence told that she could punch him, kick him, so she would stop the lunacy of Lawrence. "You're creeping me out! Get lost, Senior Lawrence!"

"I-If you want me to get l-lost then I will," Lawrence expected this would happen.

"Yeah. I don't want to see you, so make sure I won't, you nasty fuck," she didn't want to associate herself with Lawrence, so she held the left wrist of Liam and continued to walk to reach their classroom.

Lawrence couldn't breathe. "N-Natasha called me nasty fuck," he was in bliss. "She's so cool, badass, and awesome. Being able to breathe the same air as hers brings me absolute bliss!"

Liam and Natasha hooked their backpack on the hook of the desk and then sat down on the chair.

"Is Senior Lawrence nuts?" Liam asked when he recalled what happened earlier.

"He is," she didn't hesitate to answer right away. "I'll just pretend I don't know him, ugh."
