You Can't Lie To The Girl In the Mirror

She rolled over to the right of her bed, throwing her blanket on the process. She was perspiring under her thin blanket. Her body felt it was under a huge boulder. She's having a hard time breathing. 

A part of her brain was telling her that there was something wrong with her body, but her eyelids felt as if something was clamping down on them, forcing them to close. She fell back to sleep, with no idea of time. 

She was awakened by something cold touching her forehead. She felt a shiver ran across her body, she pulled the blanket closer to her chin. 

"How are you feeling?" 

She blinked her eyes and squinted them from where the familiar voice came from. 

"Mama, I'm thirsty." Her voice is hoarse and she feels pain when she speaks. 

"That's what happened when you walked home in the rain! What were you thinking?"
