"Ellise hasn't come back yet?" She asked when she returned from the powder room and Grand was still alone at their table.

"She went ahead because she had an emergency," When he saw Dana's confused expression, he added, "I think she sent you a message."

"Oh!" She sat down on her chair and looked at the half-eaten blueberry muffin. She no longer has an appetite. Which was strange. She never left any food uneaten. Especially if it is her most favorite food.

Dana was startled by Grand's question. She cocked her head ever so slightly in silent question.

Grand didn't answer her but grabbed the half-eaten muffin in her plate and popped it in his mouth. He wiped his hand in a piece of tissue and pulled her hand to get out of the restaurant.
