"Here's your drink. I got you a club soda. Hope this is fine," he said as he handed her the non-alcoholic drink that he got for her.

"Thanks! I was about to ask you not to get alcoholic drinks for me because I'm still a bit buzzed from my long flight," she smiled, accepting the club soda from Grand.

"Dana, speaking of a long flight— how long do you plan to stay?" he asked in a quiet tone.

She didn't meet Grand's questioning gaze. She wasn't expecting to feel ashamed that she was here. When she was planning to come to visit Grand, in her head, she didn't think of the fact that she and Grand were no longer in the relationship.

She must be truly insane! She thought as she heaved a deep breath before answering Grand's question.
