The Not to Zubtle Preparationz

Unknown P.O.V

"Raph… Raaphhh… RAPH!" I yell at the Fallen blonde who's mixing cake batter at an inhumane speed, startled he growls at me and for a second I jump back as to not to ruffle the beast's feathers.

I rest my hand on his shoulder to calm him down. "Relax, it's all perfect she'll like it but maybe not you as you have flour clad face." He visibly relaxes and stirs the batter again. He's smiling now so that's a pot hole masterfully avoided.

I get a harsh slap as I'm about to pick up a cookie, I leave the kitchen shivering to what I witnessed inside and come to a havoc of clothes and what not. I sight deeply out of frustration and yell "Guys! She's not going to arrive for another 14 hours! Can you please RELAX!!?" Five pair of blazing eyes turn to me. Uh oh. I slowly start backing away, before I can mutter an apology, I get tackled. Moments from receiving a bruise the door opens.

The weight over me disappears in a second and I take a moment of peace. I stand up and make my way over pushing six idiots away and sure enough it's Ray.

His caramel hair allover the place and his eyes sunken and I knew there and that he got attacked,"are you okay?" I ask in a soft voice. He simply nods and then flashes a dazzling smile as if he didn't just kick juicy demonic ass. "Did you give her the necklace?" He nods and falls on the sofa moments later snoring softly, we all chuckle and caress his hair.

Az carries him bridal style and goes to his bedroom, I fondly smile at the kid. He's sure a cupcake and rainbow person opposite to his origin. I turn to the now five goons. Glaring at them, "I want you all to clean this up and then in bed, it's not long until Mich returns" All of them pout. God. Who'd say they weren't kids?

I turn around to find Az standing in front of me looking at his feet. I lace my fingers in his silky black locks and massage his scalp, "what happened Azzie?" His lips curl at the name.

He looks up his eyes misty and red, he steps forward and wrap his arms around my torso. I smile and hold him close. "We all missed you and soon everything is going to be fine"

Michael forbid what this boy has gone through. It was hard enough to get him to eat and sleep.

The phone rings.

Settling a doubt in my mind.

I answer. Sure enough it's Michael. Az looks at me with those big doe eyes which are now swirling gold. I smile to reassure him.

"Az…. Don't tell anyone"

"Not yet...."

Raymond's P.O.V

The shrill voice of my cell phone ringing wakes me up, I groan and look at the screen. Viv. Oh good God gracious Michael's wings! I scream.

I press answer and sure enough there's sound of wind and rustling of leaves, sure enough she's sitting against the old tree. I hear a deep breath and a whisper, "Ray…" It warms my chest and my heart speed up. Just her voice brings a sense of contentment to me. "Raymond..?" She says again with a little more confidence. I know that's she's not in danger but I can't help feel a little anxious. I whisper, "Vivian…. What's wrong?" There's shuffling in the background and after a moment her voice comes from the device, "I accepted." She says, but somehow her voice holds uncertainty, I wonder why.

"That's great Vivian!" I reply in a cheerful voice though it's past midnight and my body is aching.

She takes a deep breath and continues, "I know it's good. It's actually very grateful, but.. When you will come back I'll not be here. I'm leaving tomorrow." She says her voice gently breaking at the end. I smile sheepishly but assure her, "you'll see me Vivian. And you'll hurt me after seeing me." I chuckle, "huh?" She says, I quickly sober up and say, "oh nothing. And you should sleep, it's a big day tomorrow!"

She hums and bids me goodnight and the line disconnects. I sigh and keep the phone on my nightstand and roll my eyes.

"You know you guys are not good at being sneaky." There's a yelp and sound of a smack. The door slowly opens to reveal five idiots. There eyes are glowing in the night and I can tell by their desperate looks that they are curious. I chuckle and soon enough my bed creaks under the pressure of six people, all in my duvet. I pretend to sigh annoyingly but I know it's not working. There are grim expressions looking at me with anxiousness in their eyes. I huffed out a breath.

"She said yes."

There's silence for a minute.

Then there's squealing and jumping. And ah… Group hugs which is technically a pile of not so celestial bodies on top of me.

I facepalm. I swear they aren't as sensible as they were before. "Girls" I mutter followed by a smack on the back of my head. I glare at the source and tackle resulting in a friendly yet revengeful wrestle. After the bickering and bantering, oh and after gossiping over ice cream we all ended up on the floor. "Why do this feels like a slumber party and we're a bunch of girls?" I ask in amusement receiving another round of smacks and shut ups. Then giggles erupted. I sighed these were the people who were going to do the undoable and they're giggling. Soon I joined in not being able to hold it back. This is weird. I guess families like there are always weird.

Weird or not. This was my happy place.

A soft voice then said, "Bedtime porry?" And there was a smile on all of our faces and then started a story which had three pigs, a bad fox and angels.

And they happily slept ever after.
