Plant Bro
When the snake arrived in front of me, I saw it stop to gaze at me for a while. At that moment, I felt a bit proud. 'kukuku… it seems my effort into looking cool has paid off…' While the snake was looking at me, I too, looked at the snake.
'Snakes are carvnivores right? Right? It would eat me yeah?' just as I was thinking about that, I saw it approach one of my leaves and… ate it.
Even though I saw it happened second by second, I still got stunned by that. It was only after a few moments did I realize what happened. 'NOOOOOOOOO MY LEAF!!! THIS SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING!!!'.
Then I saw it eat another one. 'WAIT WHY? NO STOP!!' WHY ARE YOU EATING ME?? I'M A PLANT FOR BALL-OF-LIGHT'S SAKE. Even though I can only see the outline of the snake, I'm almost certain that it's an expression of satisfaction that I'm seeing on its damn face while it's swallowing my leaf.
I started trying to struggle, in an attempt to maybe dodge the snake. But to no avail. As it swallowed another one, I started to really feel like crying imaginative non-existent tears. 'No please no… it takes a while to create each and every one of them… Why not eat my roots instead, yeah? You can eat them as much as you like… just please, not the leaves…' but of course I'm aware that the snake can't hear me.
'if only there's a way to tell it to stop…' I proceeded to just watch, as it ate another one. I soon noticed that I can begin see the energy flowing inside the snake. 'Ah, so that's why it's eating me. I'm a beneficial plant for it to eat...'
While I was drowning in my non-existent tears and about to enter the 5th stage of grief by accepting my fate, an idea suddenly popped up in my mind. 'Maybe I can use my energy manipulation to move my leaf…' So I tried it right away, and it worked! Though all it did was just very slightly budge the leaf, at least it showed that the idea is plausible. Whether or not the snake would get my message, all I could do hope was hope for the best. 'Since it's intelligent, hopefully it does get my message...'
The snake then ate the leaf that I just budged. It once again hurt my feelings, but for my survival, I can only grit my imaginative teeth and continue practicing with my other leaves.
Every time it ate another one of my leaves, I would always hope it would just to stop… Just as it was about to eat the first leaf I've ever made, my practice finally payed off and I successfully swayed my first and last standing leaf out of harm's way.

'YES!! FINALLY!! JUST IN TIME AS WELL' I didn't rejoice for long though. I ignored the notifications for now and continued to observe the snake. If it was determined to eat my last leaf, then there would be nothing I can do. Which is why I can only hope it gets the message that I don't want to get eaten.
With the snake having eaten all but one of my leaves, I can now see it even greater detail, since it has absorbed almost all of the energy from my leaves. And thanks to that, I can see its expression even more easily. At the moment I swayed my leaf, I saw it show a surprised reaction. Which then slowly turn into a conflicted expression. 'Nice! I think it got the message!' I thought to myself.
For a while, we just stare at each other. The snake circled around me a few times and also tried to eat my leaf a few times, but from the speed that it did so, I could tell it was just testing me. My guess being that it's trying to test my intelligence. After a while however, it did something shocking.
With a painful expression, it bit off its tail. Something that should definitely be very hard and painful for the snake. What surprised me even more, is that it placed the tail it bit off in front of me. 'Is it offering me its tail?'
The bleeding did stop however. With my Celestial aura present, while it seems it would take some time for the tail to grow back, the bleeding did stop. After placing its tail in front of me, it then pointed towards its tail with its head, and then pointed at me. 'Ah, definitely an intelligent snake. Is it offering me its tail for compensation?' I pondered about it for a while, and it seems the snake also just waited there.
'Haish… I'm still not sure what's going on, but I hope at least this means it won't eat me.' with that in mind, I proceeded to start growing my roots to absorb the tail.

'Oh? Nice.' kind of strange for the notification to only appear now though. Could one of the requirements be having a level of energy manipulation? It could be. But after receiving the skill, the speed of growing my roots have definitely increased. The speed I'm growing my roots is now a bit faster than a moving snail. Which means I can cover the snake's tail at speed visible to the naked eye.

'Damn! To think the snake itself is poisonous…' anyway, the snake should be able to see me absorbing its tail. Let's see what its going to do now.

Previously when the snake was about to eat our plant's last leaf…
"Oh? It dodged?" it then occurred to the snake. It started to think 'Ah, I was too focused on eating that I forgot to consider the possibility of the plant having intelligence like me… hmm…' the snake then proceeded to circle around the sprout a few times…
'Should I just eat it all? It definitely won't be able to do anything if I want to completely eat it...' the snake considered it for a few moments. But then decided against it. 'If it can produce more leaves, then that means I would be able eat more. If I can eat more, I'm sure I would be able to refine my bloodline more and evolve.'
It then tried grabbing the leaf a few times. 'Definitely intelligent. Its hoping I would leave it alone.'
After considering carefully, the snake finally decided. 'Once it grows bigger, I would definitely be even more beneficial to me. When that time comes, I wouldn't want it to have a grudge on me…' With that decision in mind, it then started to think of a way to show its apology. 'Since I took its leaves, maybe I should give something of mine as well…'
It then looked at its tail. With a painful expression, it bit its tail. 'Argh… this would've been faster if I had something other than fangs…' It took a while, but eventually, it did it.
"Hehehe, plant bro or sis, Sorry for eating your leaves. Please take my tail as an apology." the snake said. It doesn't know if the sprout can hear it, so it also gestured by pointing with its head to signal its intent. And after waiting for a while, it saw roots began to grow towards its tail.
'Nice! It accepted it. Hehehe…' the snake smiled after seeing that. It then looked for a spot before coiling itself. 'For now, I should completely absorb the energy that I got. With the amount I have, it might be enough for me to evolve… Hehehe'

A few days have passed, but the snake is still coiled there. But I could tell through my energy perception that it has almost completely absorbed the energy from my leaves. And because of that, I can no longer see it as clear as before.
'Hopefully it won't eat me when it wakes up…' in the mean time, I have grown back all my leaves. Mostly thanks to the skill Accelerated growth and my energy manipulation. I've also completely absorbed the snake's tail. With the dragon however, it's still in progress.
As I was practicing my energy manipulation, I noticed the coiled up snake that hasn't move in a few days, it twitched a bit.
'Is it waking up?' and sure enough, it did.
As it woke up, I could see it's satisfied expression. When it uncoiled itself, I noticed that it has undergone some changes? The snake seems to have grown longer and there are now two protrusion on its head.
'haiih, it has definitely grown stronger. My knowledge from reading webnovels and mangas are saying to me that its evolving closer to becoming a dragon. Haiih. Hopefully my life won't be in danger...'
After the snake woke up, it looked at me from top to bottom, bottom to top. It then smiled before slithering away.

Every day, the snake would bring some of its prey over. On the first day, it tried eating what's left of the dragon, but after it took a bite, it seemed to vomit it out.
