Seal was finally seeing light. She thought she had died. She wanted to know what was happening but knew she had to wait. The answers to her questions were going to be revealed soon.
Seal remember that she was arguing with Dex. It was a crowded street, and she was not paying attention. Nothing seemed wrong at first but when she finally looked up, to her utter horror found herself looking at Dex's indifferent face from the sidewalk of the street. There was a bright light hitting the side of her head that seemed to be getting closer.
Everything happened so slowly. The screaming from the crowd that just realized the situation. Loud blaring horns from the cars that tried to swerve around the sad, lonely, and confused figure on the street. The screeching sound of tires from the momentum of a heavy object trying to come to a stop too fast was deafening. It all didn't matter because someone had foreseen what would happen but did nothing to stop it.
Dex why did you do this to me... was Seals last thought.
~~~
Warm light was hitting her tired eyes.
Why is everything looking so blurry...
~~~
After a long period of time, she finally awakened.
What is this green stuff that's around me?
Why can I not move? What is going on?
PANIC and ANXIETY that's all Seal was feeling.
Why can nothing make sense...
Once again sleep is calling, and darkness is greeting.
~~~
Everything is still green... ugh
~~~
Finally, something... Seal heard a sound in the empty green space her conscience resided in.
PING
There was the sound of a female robotic voice saying
"This a message to host due to compatibility issues we are sorry to inform you that the conversion process has hit some snags there might be some problems in your new life path host will need to deal with such issues on its own but with host incredible luck at getting a second chance in life we hope Host has a wonderful and interesting life ahead. Thank you for using our services. Until next time."
What in the name of JELLY did that message say...?
SWOOSH
PLUNK
*Host has received package*
Could someone tell her what was going on? "How am I supposed to open a package without hands" she wondered.
Oh, wow it opened. Now she knew. She just had to think about it, and it would happen.
It was a sealed envelope.
The envelope had opened.
"Hello, I know that what is happening right now is really not what you had expected would happen when you died." Haha that is such an understatement thought Seal.
"You have been granted a second chance to life and it's up to you to make something or nothing of yourself." Second chance of life? "So, I had really died back there" thought Seal in her mind.
"The services that you have received is the best for beginner transmigrators you can end up being anything and this service also includes a system that will adapt to your needs, but its rules are always random. The reason why you have been given a second chance is due to your good deeds in your past life and the unjust death you received from the millions of lifeforms that fall under such categories you were a lucky winner in this round of lottery. You will be sent to a random world we hope that you have a great experience. All the best from TraX Inc. "
Silence descended in the empty space.
"No this cannot be happening."
"Why me I didn't even sign up for this"
"Why couldn't I die like normal people?"
"I have read enough to know that most times this is all a scam and people end up in really bad situations when they transmigrate"
Seal found herself spiraling in denial of the situation she was in.
