Twenty Four

Before I could even get my bearings, debri began to crumble above me and I had to dive out of the way to avoid getting hurt. I looked up to see what almost fell on my head, and I saw the Palace of Ceres, my home. It was on fire and falling apart. I stood in awe and horror at the sight of my home being burned to the ground. I then started to think of the memories I made in it, and I suddenly remembered my sister and went to find her.

I looked around to find anything that could lead me to her, and a glimmer of light caught the corner of my eye. It was in an old tower that I was never allowed into because it was old and dangerous. I followed the light to the old tower while avoiding the debris that was falling everywhere, until I arrived at the tower and saw my sister lying on the ground with an injured leg.

I approached her to help and she tried to run away from me, so I grabbed her arm to calm her down and tell me what happened. She got even more frightened when I grabbed her arm and began begging me to spare her. I asked her why she was scared of me, but she just begged me to stop. A rustling sound behind me startled me, but I still turned around to face it. There was nothing there, but when I turned back to Elizabeth, she wasn't there, just a pile of ashes.

I got scared and the tower began to fall apart around me. The floor beneath began to break and I fell through, but as I was falling, I saw a hooded figure. He told me to find him right before I woke up. I wasn't sure what it was, but something inside me was telling me to go find Merlin. When I woke up, Arthur told me to follow him and I snuck away from camp with him, uncertain of where we were going.
