Dust started to clear out at the place of the explosion. "Ghagh! ghah!" Kaosu breathed as he now was in a miserable state. Blood was glued to Kaosu's face. Multiple open wounds can be found at Kaosu body. But all of that does not matter as there was still a big hideous hand holding him up in mid air. "GRAAA!" Kaosu shouted as he swung his sword at the hand with all of its strength. *Swoosh*

the sword resounded a clean slash at the hand. And making Kaosu fall and barely standing in the floor. Kaosu looked at the monster he can see at the right side of thw monster's chest is a black orb that was glowing. The orb was continuously repairing the monster body. Before the monster was finished regaining Kaosu even though his body ached he grabbed fast at the orb *Graar!!

making the monster growl in pain. finally the monster was weakened leaving it kneeling infront of Kaosu. Kaosu who was now tired and wanted to end things held out his sword and striked at the monster's neck *Flop* the sound of the monster head falling the ground resounded the gymnasium. "Fuck finally I killed that beast." Kaosu ranted to himself. And he started to asses himself to see and serious injuries. "Host congratulations for obtaining a skill fragment. That black orb you're holding contains a Regeneration skill which is a passive skill and also the the skill Rager's Fury. But unfortunately the orb was damaged because of the explosion." "Ok wait Maximus so you mean I can use this orb to absorb a skill like that monster was using?" Kaosu looked bewildered this was pushing his logical cognitive to a limit. "Yes host this is one of my functions as a specialized assigned to you. I can grant you the skill in this orb that will normally take a phase 1 evolutionary to absorb." Maximus explained inside Kaosu's mind. "Ok I get it now. But kindly explain what you mean the orb was damage?" Kaosu who forced himself to comprehend the absurd event that was occuring to him right now. "It means host that I can only let you absorb one of the skill this orb has. This kind of double skill orb is normally rare. Especially 2 skills that compliments each other so well." Maximus once again explained to Kaosu. Kaosu who was thinking didn't care about the rest of the explanation and just focused on what skill should he use. "If I use the rage skill it can gain me additional strength boost but in the meantime I would be like that monster all brawn without brain. Especially that my brain is the one thing I can be reliant in this times. But while regeneration may be dull but it can be helpful for me for long battles because right now my stats is unbalanced when I put everything in physique and agility. Because I may have physique at higher level my body still cant regenerate fast enough " "Host I too would like to give you an advice. I would say that the regeneration skill seems much more helpful for you at this moment." Maximus butted in Kaosu's mind. "Yes you're right Maximus. Then so shall be it I will choose the regeneration skill. And show me my stats panel I would like to see how many experience points I got from killing that thing." Kaosu ordered Maximus as he saw the panel appear right before his eyes. The orb he was holding suddenly turned into white colored dust and was absorbed onto the panel revealing another layer of in his panel.

"What the fuck! I almost died because of that monster and all I get is 30xp." Kaosu cursed at Maximus. "Host that monster was only worth of 30 zombies combined you could have killed it easily if you hadn't messed up and was caught by him." Maximus replied which irritated Kaosu more. "But by the way host. O forgot to tell you we are in your mindscape right now and you are still not safe from the hoard that is inside this gymnasium. We are only communicating inside your mind at the speed of light" Maximus reminded Kaosu as he brings back Kaosu to the reality. Kaosu consciousness now returns as he was greeted with a hoard slowly approach him. "Shit! Maximus what the hell you should have given me a warning before bringing me back." Kaosu cussed at Maximus as he now started to attack the zombies approaching him.

Long Fei's POV

Long Fei and the Wu siblings continue to ran at the dormitory while occasionally shooting zombies that was coming their way. "Fuck! we shouldn't had left boss all alone there fighting that monster." Long Fei cursed breaking the silence that was reigning them since they left the gymnasium. "Ok! I know but it was boss's orders and you know it that we will only be a burden to boss" Wu Ye voiced out. "Yeah my brothers right what we should now do is go to the dormitory and protect boss's friend." Wu Bing added to the conversation. The group acknowledge that fact and continues to run to the dorm. "Jiangong how far is it from the dormitory." Long Fei asked the AI in their bracelets. "you are approximately 2kms away from your destination. My prediction is youll arrive in 30mins." the mechanical voice of the AI assured the group and they continue forward.

A while later the group saw the dorm in the distance away. A big building that compromises of 30 floors. "Look there's the dorm we should hurry." Long Fei encouraged the team. As he said that *BOOM* a loud explosion resounded coming from where they came from the gymnasium. "Shit! what was that it came from the gymnasium. What happened to boss!" Wu Bing cursed and wanting to run back to the gymnasium to help Kaosu. But she was stopped by his brother amd said " No we are already here. We should find boss's friend and await him here." "But what about boss that explosion sounded pretty big what if he was caught in it and died" Wu Bing retorted. Long Fei stepped in and reassured the siblings "No we should honor boss's orders. And we know boss can handle it like he pretty much save us from a hoard also right. the boss will be alive he's like that monster he is facing off right." the siblings quitted down and nodded at Long fei. The team looked at the dormitory and started to approach it cautiously.
