Armageddon 42

Kaosu now also brought a chair and faced the Headmaster. "Well, now child what is it," the Headmaster said as he leaned forward to listen to Kaosu. "Well when I went out by myself earlier the things that I heard, saw, and was told by. I was so angry I thought that what comes from our great scientific progress is a life that will be civilized and peaceful. But that was all an illusion I saw that even if we had peace our primal instinct was still intact." Kaosu said angrily that all he could do is look down and clench his fists. "Child that what makes us humans. No matter what emotion, desire or will we possesses that made us unique. Remember what I and your parents taught you that there should always be balance right. That no matter what there will always right and wrong." Kaosu nodded at what Headmaster advised. "Then what am I? I have countless blood on my hands. But here am I helping you guys to fight those bastards at the main campus." Kaosu asked as he looked at the Headmaster eye to eye. "Child you are you. Let me ask you why did you kill all those people?" Headmaster asked "I killed them because if not I will be the one killed also so that I could find my team. And also some bastard was about to rape Wu Bing. I hate people like that." Kaosu said as if he was still angry about the situation. "See Kaosu your mind may have driven you to prioritize the most logical way. But what you can see you're still human killing, anger, grief will always affect you. Because you may have superhuman strength and enhanced intelligence but that doesn't make you a God." Headmaster consoled Kasou as he stood up and walked through the door.

"Come Kaosu I have something to show you." Headmaster beckoned Kaosu to follow him. Kaosu followed the Headmaster into one of the rooms upstairs of the mansion. "I never told this to you but when your parents left you in my care. They gave me this hoping that one day when you are ready you will put this thing into greater use" The Headmaster said as he walked towards a majestic cryogenic safe inside the room. "I never told you this because all this time I was observing you. Trying to see if you were worthy of this. But now all I can say is I'm proud not that because you matured as a person but also you now have people that can watch your back when I'm gone." The Headmaster warmly said as he took inside the safe a box with mysterious symbols and design. "Old man don't be like that I still need you and it's not that you're going to die here I promise to use every bit of my power to give you the main campus from that evil bastards," Kasou said embarrassingly but in a warm tone clearly he is a bit shy around the Headmaster as he still a teenager. "Hahahaha don't sweat it child I know our civilization had progressed so much in the century after the war. But I'm old now I live my life, I saw my family come and go but why can't I. And now your generation has to step in." The Headmaster cryptically said as he handed Kaosu the box. Kaosu took the box examined it very carefully and the moment he touched it felt very heavy for some reason. He was bizarre at how can a small-looking box be this heavy. But the Headmaster just smiled at the look of Kaosu's confused face. "Remember Kaosu you may be a genius here on Earth. But you see there are many things unknown and undecided in this universe. Try to explore the federation's vast colonies and allies when this is all over. Try to broaden your horizon that is why your parents left.

Kaosu opened the box and what made him more confused is that inside the box is just a seemingly normal-looking ring. Kaosu grabbed the ring and constantly turned it over and over trying to see what's so special about this ring. "Child just put it on and you will see what your parents gifted you," Headmaster said as Kasou just wore the ring on his right pointer finger. The ring started to glow in a violet hue as the same violet streaks started running on the ring's surface. "This ring is a Bionic that matches its wearer desires and transforms itself into it." The Headmaster explained as the ring started to melt and slowly covered Kaosu's hand and arm. "This is my first time I ever saw one of these. I mean I read it on the federation's files but I never actually got to see one. These Bionics are hard to get here on Earth from I've heard that you actually needed a special permit from the Prime minister himself to get a clearance bringing one here." Kaosu said in amazement as the ring now integrated with his arm forming a black and violet streaked glove and bracer on his right arm. "Yes, you're parents dealt a massive amount of denial from the Prime Minister for bringing this type of Bionic here on Earth. Because this Bionic was made from an unknown material in the Red Zone. This causes massive discomfort for the Prime Minister because its threat is still unknown. But eventually, he gave in because of your parent's massive reputation and contribution to the federation." The Headmaster explained as he let Kaosu just examine the Bionic ring.

Kaosu who finished inspecting the Bionic didn't felt any anomaly in his body nodded at the Headmaster and smiled. "Now Child your body still needs the rest as it now the eve of night." Kasou then hugged and walked out of the room heading to his own quarters. "Thanks, old man for being my parent when they left," Kaosu said as he left the room. This made the Headmaster tear up in gratification. "Don't worry child your journey is still beginning. Now I hope I managed to pay you back Vincent for everything that I've done" The Headmaster said somberly to himself as he looked through the moon in the window of the room clearly relieving a painful memory from his past.

In a place far away there is a hut in the middle of the forest where the sun is now shining brightly. Countless chirp, roars, and hiss from unknown creatures resounded on this forest. "I see you've finally given him the ring old man. Maybe now it's my time to contribute to his journey." An angelic voice sounded off in the hut as a figure was emerging from inside. A beautiful black-haired girl stepped out of the hut. The girl was swearing was somewhat a symbiotic space suit. This girl was smiling when she stepped out and just seemingly type or tinkered something in her arm as a somewhat futuristic-looking motorcycle detached from her suit and manifested in front of him.

Kaosu who was now unaware of any of that was happening return to his room feeling happy and satisfied that even if his parents left him. They still didn't forget about him and also happy at the fact that he still had a parent figure here on Earth guiding him. "Now before I tackle anything involving this Bionic ring I need Maximus who once again fallen asleep because of the massive amount of zombies that I killed," Kaosu said to himself as he started to take his clothes off revealing his toned body and entered the shower. "But for now I need to make equipment for everyone here at the mansion. So that when it is time to attack the main campus we will all be ready. And I just remembered I also need to make zerdent weapons for Sgt. Reyland's remaining team." Kasou thought to himself about the massive workload he needed to do tomorrow. "Shit I forgot I also need my team to strengthen themself for the upcoming fight. Maybe I'll send them on a kill and gather mission tomorrow." These countless thoughts formed in Kaosu's mind as he is preparing everything tomorrow as he showers. But Kasou had no control over this as this was one of the prices in receiving is uncanny supreme intelligence.

Kasou now finished showering as he now grabbed a comfortable set of clothes on his back and wore it. Then he laid on the bed looking at the ceiling as countless plans and thoughts still circled around him. "Jiangong set the alarm for six hours of sleep and play Kasumi's tune on m playlist." Kaosu ordered the AI "Right away sir, Playing Kasumi's tune right now." Jiandong voice sounded off from Kaosu's bracelet which was on the counter next to his bed. Then slowly the voice of Kasumi slowly filled Kasou's room. Clearly giving and evidence that Kasou clearly treasured Kasumi. Then slowly darkness overcome Kaosu as he now peacefully slept for once.
