Chapter Forty-One: Present: Unseen: The line

"How is she doing?" I asked, entering the cold room with a slight shiver. you would think that an old man with so much blood on my hands would be able to deal with the cold. Maybe before I would have been able to but now, my skin was becoming more sensitive.

"Better, her vitals are good and she's now off the life support so she should be waking up soon. For now, let's make sure that there's strict control of who comes in and out. we don't want her system to fall back because of someone who has a common cold." the doctor said as she checked on her.

"That is fine, I'll make sure my sons don't enter if they unwell and the only people who are allowed in here are the maids and you guys. Also then tags must be checked as the procedure goes." moving in deeper into the room I walked straight for her, I heard the door click and I knew she had given me privacy.
