Chapter Seventy-Nine: Past: Tremor Matches Whispers

"We are glad that you are alive and kicking, you seem much better after these past two weeks." Lora complimented as she checked my vitals and jotted them down.

"Definitely, I feel way better and I'm grateful to all of you, for everything that you have done to help me. I'm still alive." I murmured as I locked eyes with her, giving her a small forced smile.

She paused, placing the pen and paper down, she took a seat next to me and just hugged me. she held me and I felt tears streaming down unintentionally. My body suddenly trembled and all I could see was the water. my body suddenly went cold and I felt death coming at me.

Quickly pulling I was, I felt my body shake uncontrollably as if my body was still in the water and no one had really saved me. as if feeling that the blood was still leaking out my head, I reached for the place where I was sure I had a mark and flinched when I touched the bandage.
